  • As a practitioner who joined at the age of 15, my flexibility was (and let's be honest... IS) not as developed as someone who joined earlier in life.
I also struggled with weak ankles growing up, so I know how Taekwondo training can definitely improve your body, and your quality of life!
Let's take a look at how we can improve our lunges, whether we are more 'experienced' on the age spectrum, less developed on the muscle side, or we have a previous injury.

Hi Seven, one step sparring is a choreographed fight, or pattern of attacking and defending (almost like poomsae with a partner!)
one step sparring helps to practice various techniques like blocking and striking in a controlled and practicable manner.
Hosinsul is isolated self defence situations which is useful in and of itself. Usually you practice with little variation and improve the speed to enhance the practicality of the technique.
      Hope this helps!
