- ► Welcome to PART 1 of my DISNEYLAND CALIFORNIA series 2022. In this video, I travel from London's Heathrow airport to, Los Angeles LAX, flying Premium Economy with Virgin Atlantic.
Once in Los Angeles, I check in to the Disneyland Hotel, at the Disneyland Resort, and spend the evening in one of the most wonderful Disney hotel rooms with a view!
What's the longest flight you've been on? Have you visited the Original Disneyland in California before? How awesome was that room with the fireworks view? I'd love to read your comments below.

DISNEYLAND CALIFORNIA TRAVEL DAY VIRGIN ATLANTIC PREMIUM ECONOMY LONDON TO LAX
Travel days are tough especially with a nearly 12 hour flight! Staying at the Disneyland Hotel is on my bucket list. It’s amazing that you stayed in a Theme Park view room! FYI for anyone staying in that type of room, you can listen to the soundtrack for the fireworks through your resort TV while you watch 😊

I loved that day. The best part was your genuine emotional gratitude at being in the Disneyland Hotel. When you got the tangerines with room service I wanted to shout “it’s a hidden Mickey”! The fireworks were superb right outside your window.

One day i hope we get there too - i did have a look on the virgin website while we watched this vlog and yeah its one for the near future but not anytime soon 😂 think when the boys are a bit older too with that length of flight would be better!

I loved this video so much. I haven't been to America in nearly 5 years. Use to go twice a year. So watching this video is bringing back fabulous memories. I always travelled with Virgin Atlantic unless they weren't flying to my destination, and Premium economy is so good. I hope you get to do the upper class one day too, I did it once got a good deal and its so good. That's so amazing you stayed in the Disneyland Hotel, I haven't stayed there but my parents have and they loved it. I'm so looking forward to the rest of this vlog series.

We always fly virgin..the snacks and meals are never ending…
It’s worth it just for the entertainment so much to choose from…..
I’m from California (Burbank) Anaheim is my old stopping ground…I now live in the Uk (36 years) ..The food in Paris is far better then the American Disney food….It’s far to samey in the USA,but the snacks are brilliant in the U.S
Can’t wait to see all this…the last we were there was 2016 too…..

Hi Sam! I started watching your videos before I visited Disney Paris last June, and kept watching just because I really love your content. Watching this video of you visiting my home park where I’ve been visiting my whole life and seeing g your reaction to everything just has me so emotional ❤ I feel like I had such a similar feeling when visiting your home park 🤩 anyway welcome to California! I love how excited and happy you were to be there! I can't remember if I've stayed at the Disneyland Hotel since the the remodel, but I did have Christmas dinner with my BFF and her parents in 2006 at Goofy's Kitchen. I normally stay off-site when I go alone or at Paradise Pier with my mom.

I have been lucky enough to stay there twice - such a cool place to stay… I was there for Halloween this year and stayed across the street at Best Western… I was there for Christmas four yrs ago and stayed at the Fairfield… enjoyed both…. Glad you made it !!!! Enjoy !!!!
You should only stay in adventure tower. The rooms are twice as big and the windows are so big! And more furniture and not as dark

I'm so excited for this! I feel like Disneyland Anaheim doesn't get as much love as Disney World, and I didn't watch any vlog about it ever, so I'm really curious what it's like!

Anaheim is in the area called Orange County. I believe that's the reason why you get oranges... somehow like you always get 2 apples at Hyatt!
Oranges from Room Service are because you are in Orange County and the Park used to be an Orange Grove I believe

Oh I love ❤️ Disneyland Anaheim just sooo much. Need to be back rather sooner than later 😅 we were in August and stayed at Grand Californian for 1 night and 6 nights at Tropicana Inn 🏨 on Harbor Boulevard which is not further away than the Grand 😅 I think I miss Rebecca… couldn’t she be part of it this time?
Ooh I’ll have to check out Tropicana Inn. I was really happy with our offsite hotel (Candlewood Suites) too, but always looking for more good neighbouring hotels there, as the 3 Disney hotels there are too expensive for longer stays!

I hope to see you in one of the shops at Downtown Disney. I’ll be there Thursday and Friday, late afternoons, carrying a 2 foot 6 inch replica of the Mandalorian’s ship. (Smiling)
If you have time go check out a great food court called Anaheim Packing House. It’s a magical experience. Over at Disneyland you must try the delicious ginger bread cookie at Jolly Holiday. Even non-gingerbread lovers like it. However, you must order it by 8 AM via the app. Because it sells out by 10 AM.
PS. May I suggest a Disneyland RUclips channel so that you can get familiar with the popular merchandise and food?.
