Absolutely. You cans say that again. One challenge I as a drummer faces is when you don't have a basis that can accompany you or who knows your style of playing and communication. But this video is super hot. I danced and was like sometimes one needs to be a congregation member once in a while just to dance and shake 😂. Cuz you play but you don't have the chance to play and dance at the same time😂🎉

@@Pianowitease I think what he means is that: Had it been na amatuer musicians de play, the type of grove held by the drummer would have made the music have empty spaces. But the Drummer and the other intrumentalists understood the assignment and every one did their role very well. Making the Music come out this excellent

Why is no one talking about how the Bassist held the groove so tight. Almost playing every 16th note and still adding some spicy fills.

I remember the first time I came across his videos during my service year, sometime around 2018; I told my friend I just found a drummer I aspired to play like.
See how everyone so relaxed playing such classic piece effortlessly. I mean the drummer is so calm and not fighting the set. Hats off to the sound engineer behind this classic.
Marcus doesn't get carried way to overplay & that's what separates him from some of the top Nigerian drummers. He knows his assignment 💯
