I renounced and denounced the Eastern Star within a few months of joining. I was only 24 years old at the time. My mom kept preaching to me that nothing of God should be a secret. My spirit never felt at peace at the meetings and events. That was over 30 years ago. To God be the Glory

I used to be part of Delta Sigma Theta over 20 years ago. My husband was never comfortable with the sorority life. He encouraged me to do some research and what I discovered led me to denounce that life. I said the prayer at the end of the podcast as I had never denounced the pledge. Thank you for doing this. Whew…I renounced and denounced my membership in Delta Sigma Theta last year after 12 years in the organization. I was a chapter president and VERY very involved in the chapter. What Tommy is expressing is the TRUTH. I felt so convicted even watching this because I didn’t want to think back to all the details of that time that I’ve already renounced and denounced. So that prayer at the end, I said it too!!! Even though it’s been over a year…I still grieve. Walking away was Very difficult and heartbreaking considering the relationships and love I had/have for the women in the sorority but being obedient to the Holy Spirit meant more to me… I used to be the one who looked down on people who denounced so harshly and felt like “you were never REALLY one of us” and so many other prideful thoughts but now I am rejoicing with every one of our brothers and sisters in Christ who have the courage to walk away. It’s HARD and cannot be a persuasion by man but truly a conviction of the heart. Only God can do that ❤

Praise God! I denounced and renounced Delta after 19 years. When I tell you that obedience is better than sacrifice. I felt the same way when I left the organization, but GOD. I have the Love of God for them even more since I left the organization. I continuously pray for our sisters and brothers in Christ who are still in the sororities and fraternities. I denounced and renounced my pledge with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. One morning I was praying and I had my prayer shawl over my shoulders and sorority blanket/shawl over my feet because it was chilly that morning. Didn’t want to leave my office and go to my closet to get my socks. God told me “You can’t serve two gods.” God brought to my remembrance to me some things during the initiation ceremony. I wanted to join Delta so bad when I was in college. Something in me didn't feel right about it. I kept hearing over and over in my head do your research. I wasn't aware about the different gods and goddesses that each organization represented. That had me like huh? This doesn't seem right... I wasn't even trying to look that deep into it but by the grace of God I did. I then ran across a video of a woman who renounced her sorority. This was before renouncing videos were all over the internet. I immediately was disappointed because I knew I couldn't join. However, years later and knowing more about the spirit realm, I'm so glad God kept me from it!!!
I wanted to pledge Delta too. Didn’t matter what I did I always felt like I was being blocked. I literally asked God why he wouldn’t let me pledge, and gave me a dream that I’ll never forget.
This conversation is so good and plainly informative. I know someone who's a freemason and just joined a fraternity. I warned him of the spiritual dangers before he pledged but he did it anyway. If you are a mason you can join the fraternities without going through so much of the drama. The person I know, is so lost. It’s sad watching him do this just to be accepted by others. I didn’t know he had self esteem issues. They do a lot to make themselves feel important in society. He left the church. In the mason organization they play a lot of games with the Bible, so they make them think it is a Godly organization, just like the fraternities and sororities. I showed my friend several comments from former masons, one went high as the 33rd degree, and he even said that he compared his masonic Bible to the King James and was upset that it wasn't the same. My friend didn't want to believe. His biggest downfall is that he doesn't read. I told him, "That's how you'll stay ignorant." Believing everything someone else tells you. Praise God for this brother. I denounced omega Psi Phi back in 2016. I pledged for almost 8 months. I went through many stages of deliverance to be completely set free. This thing is more spiritual than anything. I went through a brutal process in joining that fraternity. I’m now a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. When the Lord permit me, I will tell it all.

I denounced Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity years ago and have seen the difference in how I think and relate to the Lord and the things of God. It is true that “No one can serve two masters. He will hate and love the other.” These oaths, pledges, and agreements have legal binding spiritually. I'm so glad my son didn't follow me into that foolishness.

Powerful. I was very close to this in college. I got the paperwork and everything. I know that God had his hand on my life. My mother was praying against it. I came across a soror who happened to be soror to my suite mate who did not like me. The soror liked me as a person so much, until she revealed to me that my suite mate, who was her soror found out that I would potentially pledge, was in a meeting telling her sorors, while rubbing her hands together, to bring me to her, because she was planning to HAZE ME. There was a leak in the sorority, it was GOD, using the young lady who liked me as a friend, to come to me in private to let me know of the plan. I immediately changed my mind.
I was going to join and actively pursued it all even went online and quit on my own, alone with no line. It's alot but I could've died. We were all dumb kids!!But God..🙏🏽🙏🏽
I had a friend who went through deliverance in a class we were in together and she renounced the eastern star pledges and she said when she did a foul stench came out of her nasal cavity that stunk the whole room up. She also told me a lying spirit came out with it.

Praise the Lord for this! I was a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority and I left the sorority within the first year of joining. I was a Christian for a few years and joined naively. Honestly when I got into the sorority, my high hopes were not met. I just kept thinking to myself, “Is this it? I’m paying loads of money to be a part of this?” And my conscience was never clear. I felt tension in my walk with Christ as I wore those letters and went to the meetings. Everyone was lost and the things we were doing were not bringing me closer to God. It all seemed like vanity, and I was becoming more vain. God arrested my heart one night in my dorm room and spoke through the Holy Spirit so clearly to me to leave that sorority. I knew it was Him and felt so much peace with letting go and have never looked back! It’s a pseudo-church, where people go for acceptance and to do “good works”. But they deny the power of God! God already loved me and accepted me, so I didn’t need to find acceptance in anything but Him!
@acrawford26 Same here. I renounced and denounced Sigma Gamma Rho in 2020 once the Lord showed me what I had done. When He said to me "you cannot serve Me and that", I did not know what the Lord meant. Even though I was not in national or "financial" and not active, the Lord showed me the altar and the oath I had made to another god. Then when I saw a few days later someone from AKA had cut up their letters and had them online, I KNEW what He meant. I cried for hours and repented, denounced and renounced and I praise God for the freedom I have experienced. It is so amazing. I am so thankful for the grace and mercy of God. Psuedo-church! That's good. I'm going to start using that phrasing. I too denounced sgrho and I always said that it felt like church but not church. There is definitely a lot of parallelism.
In 2021, I pledged as a Philo with Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority in Austin, Texas. Was in it for 3 months and left and denounced. My Spiritual leadership whom are Apostles and The Holy Ghost spoke to me at different times telling me to leave the sorority alone and it was not of God. There’s so much behind these sororities and fraternities spiritually that is not seen by natural eyes. I felt such a conviction in my heart and stomach, I personally had to go. I repented, Jesus forgave me and I moved on with my life and walk with God.
These humailation and fear tactics that happen in these initiations are a form of tramua bonding, such that those who goes into these activities wont go about and dispell secrets of the organization

I wanted to join the AkA’s when I was in high school. They use to come speaking to us. They made it seem like that was the life. But God I became pregnant before graduation not saying I was right fornicating but that son of mine made it so that wasn’t an option for me. I tried my best to find and make a friend with someone in that organization so I could join. But God he never allowed not 1 from that group to cross my path. The concept of hazing is reminiscent of slavery where so-called bucks were brutalized and dehumanized to keep them in line. The idea of going through all of these unnecessary processes and protocols in the name of “brotherhood/sisterhood” and “community service” is beyond me.

In college I wanted to pledge so bad but the thought of getting beat and then calling me a “sister” didn’t sit well with me. I used to be (not anymore)very vindictive and knew I would want revenge some way or another. lol Later, after getting saved, I wanted to pledge again and the Lord told me “don’t!” This was in the early 2000s so I got flack back then for saying God was against it.

Lol. My grandma was an Eastern Star too, but she was sweet. She used to take me and my cousins to "society meetings" with her. Them lil old ladies wasn't doing nothing but gossiping and eating pound cake.
I was under demonic attack. I found out that my great grandfather who was born in 1906 was a mason. The Bible tells us that the sins of the father are passed down four generations. I am a part of his fourth generation. I repented and broke all family generational curses and covenants with free masonry. The attacks lessened immediately but were still there. Months later, my aunt mentioned that my great grandmother his wife was an Eastern Star. I went back into the spirit realm repented and denounced/renounced all family covenants and curses attached to that organization. The attacks immediately lessened to almost none. Black people are so thirsty for fake prestige, ghetto notoriety and belonging as a result of being born to neglectful parents that their low self esteem blindly links up with anything that resembles family. Even when you denounce (bless God) you’ll still need deliverance. Denouncing is a step to freedom, it legally gives way to the deliverance. I’ve been in a deliverance session when a person denounced years prior and that spirit still manifested and had to be cast out. - real life

Former member of Omega Psi Phi… I always knew something was off, even establishing real friendships … once I became a Que, it became harder because everyone expected me to act wild etc … even so called frat brothers, expected me to act wild or owt… I can only be myself, which is chill and easy going, and I was exiled from from those guys I actually knew before Greek because I didn’t fit the mold…. Decided to leave the frat and live and be free. There’s good guys in these frats but these organizations have lost their way …
Many people go into these organizations not having a clue that it is in direct conflict and violation of God's laws, precepts and commandments. Why? Because many churches and households are not teaching Truth. Nor are they teaching the importance of obedience and walking a righteous path. Churches are teaching the prosperity gospel, leading so many astray. Many people come out of church barely understanding that the wages of sin is death. Open the Bible, sins are documented clearly and the way to live is even clearer. It's great to denounce these organizations, but that is just a drop in the bucket. The question I ask myself daily is am I also applying this level of discipline and obedience in my life daily. This is coming from a former divine 9 member.
I could never understand why people would do anything just to be a part of a group. This is really sad to me for anyone that went through that. That is not Love of no kind of brotherhood or sisterhood.

I’m 26 seconds in and had a brother that was telling me about how he was about to/wanted to pledge Kappa (I think) and I sternly told him to be careful because it is like Freemasons. You dont know what you give up until you’re already in it

A line manager tried to initiate me into a fraternity which I refused . Herself and husband were in the fraternity. She described the process of getting initiated and it’s similar to what is being discussed. She staged my death without success then I was abruptly sacked from work no reason given. Third time I have escaped this experience. I became born again at 8 yrs old and love the Lord since ❤. Lost two jobs cos I refuse to so much as agree with the idea and goo with these persons. Escaped 13 road traffic accidents cos I will not join, punishment was death cos I refused.
That’s the price I had to pay for refusing to get initiated by family member and managers at work… I stood my ground in my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ despite suffering dangerous hardships. I have tasted the deliverance power of God, His divine favour amidst the hardships, His love, I understand the psalms like king David wrote. The bible is alive to me it’s like I am reliving the scriptures. Too much to write now suffice to say God is real and nothing to fear in life. God stands by His words. Good to know God.
The pastor of my church is always bragging about the fraternity he belongs to and he’s a Freemason. He influences the younger generation to get involved in these things but yet he’s suppose to be a man of God. I figured out he was a Freemason because another pastor spoke at the church and announced in his sermon that they were a part of the “brotherhood” I ‘ve since stopped going regularly to this church it’s very disappointing to know the pastor is serving two Gods or maybe one more than the other 🤦🏽♀️

I never understood why we did weird secret meetings-including ritualistic standards of conduct and creepy group chanting-when I was in a sorority for one year. Everything seemed symbolic in a cheesy way, but where nobody is telling you what the symbol represents. Evil.
I was in the process of pledging D9 back in college and let me tell you - God saved me from it. To this day, there are things that occurred during that period that I cannot explain. Jesus Christ is king.

In later, seasons of family, Guy, Stewie builds robots, and they become smarter than him and haze him so that he can hang out with them. They forced him to drink a bottle of blue cheese dressing and then when he pukes it up, they tell him that he can hang out only if he gets all of it up and drinks it. It’s incredibly similar to the story. This man is telling.
My grandmother & granddad were affiliated with Greek life. I was told I didn't have to if I didn't want to & so I asked my spirit if that was something I needed to do & the response was no. So I didn't pledge, I did lose some status with ppl, but God had other plans for me. I graduated from the college my mother finished from & I'm very proud of that cause it's not many 2nd generation grads when I finished. I have been asked to join many organizations but my spirit has lead me to do self mastery which serves no other for now. I do believe in servicing the community but not other God's other than self 1st.
There's no such thing as self mastery. Christ Jesus said in the Holy Scriptures that "if anyone is going to follow Me, he/she must deny him/her[self], take up his cross, and follow after Me." Self mastery is a denial of your need for Jesus to have died on the Cross, been buried, and and been raised from the dead. Where did you receive that "spirit" from that you were mentioning?

When someone want to be a part of those organizations, the deception is very strong. Keep bringing it up and sewing seeds… Her spirit will bring it up and cause her to see at the appointed time.

I'm in a Rotaract Club too and thinking of becoming a Rotarian. One thing I came to understand is that every club decides how it operates. There are clubs that are known for wild parties aside from the service, some that are known for not doing projects, not really meeting and not even doing projects but sponsoring other Rotary or Rotaract Clubs to do their projects (some are even E-clubs so the members very very rarely meet). In my own our idea of a wild party is finishing a fellowship and going to a Rotarians club where we'll have one drink, yawn and go home. So the wild and sexually-free stories you hear about the Rotary organization don't cut across all clubs. I hope this has answered one or two of your questions
@@jacqueline8566 The joining process for Rotaract which I was part of starts with a mentorship period that can range from a month to 3 months or even more where an individual is oriented about what Rotary/Rotaract is, the specific club culture, and all that. During mentorship, an individual must attend community projects and weekly meetings as often as possible to get acquainted with the system. As soon as they are deemed ready, they are taken through an induction ceremony and given a certificate of membership. They are then required to adhere to the rules of the club like weekly "fellowship" meetings and service projects among others.
When I was younger, I wanted to study in the US just to get an opportunity to join one of these Greek Societies. I thought it was the thing to do. Thank God I did not get that visa in 2003. Thank God.

I used to be part of Delta Sigma Theta over 20 years ago. My husband was never comfortable with the sorority life. He encouraged me to do some research and what I discovered led me to denounce that life. I said the prayer at the end of the podcast as I had never denounced the pledge. Thank you for doing this. Whew…I renounced and denounced my membership in Delta Sigma Theta last year after 12 years in the organization. I was a chapter president and VERY very involved in the chapter. What Tommy is expressing is the TRUTH. I felt so convicted even watching this because I didn’t want to think back to all the details of that time that I’ve already renounced and denounced. So that prayer at the end, I said it too!!! Even though it’s been over a year…I still grieve. Walking away was Very difficult and heartbreaking considering the relationships and love I had/have for the women in the sorority but being obedient to the Holy Spirit meant more to me… I used to be the one who looked down on people who denounced so harshly and felt like “you were never REALLY one of us” and so many other prideful thoughts but now I am rejoicing with every one of our brothers and sisters in Christ who have the courage to walk away. It’s HARD and cannot be a persuasion by man but truly a conviction of the heart. Only God can do that ❤

Praise God! I denounced and renounced Delta after 19 years. When I tell you that obedience is better than sacrifice. I felt the same way when I left the organization, but GOD. One morning I was praying and I had my prayer shawl over my shoulders and sorority blanket/shawl over my feet because it was chilly that morning. Didn’t want to leave my office and go to my closet to get my socks. God told me “You can’t serve two gods.” God brought to my remembrance to me some things during the initiation ceremony. I wasn’t mature in my relationship with God at that time. I went through self deliverance and I saw so many demons. I thank God for deliverance and freedom.

I used walk with regret because I didn't go to college and get to pledge AKA I now see God kept me out of all the trouble college would have offered me.

I wanted to join Delta so bad when I was in college. Something in me didn't feel right about it. I kept hearing over and over in my head do your research. I wasn't aware about the different gods and goddesses that each organization represented. That had me like huh? This doesn't seem right... I wasn't even trying to look that deep into it but by the grace of God I did. I then ran across a video of a woman who renounced her sorority. If you are a mason you can join the fraternities without going through so much of the drama. The person I know, is so lost. It’s sad watching him do this just to be accepted by others. I didn’t know he had self esteem issues. They do a lot to make themselves feel important in society. He left the church. In the mason organization they play a lot of games with the Bible, so they make them think it is a Godly organization, just like the fraternities and sororities. I showed my friend several comments from former masons, one went high as the 33rd degree, and he even said that he compared his masonic Bible to the King James and was upset that it wasn't the same. My friend didn't want to believe. His biggest downfall is that he doesn't read. I told him, "That's how you'll stay ignorant." Believing everything someone else tells you. Praise God for this brother. I denounced omega Psi Phi back in 2016. I pledged for almost 8 months. I went through many stages of deliverance to be completely set free. This thing is more spiritual than anything. I went through a brutal process in joining that fraternity. I’m now a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. When the Lord permit me, I will tell it all.
I pledged in 00 crossed 01.. during initiation i didn't put my hand on the bible.. after learning the hermetics i understood where it came from after my ascension i stayed I wear white frat shirts and I help all D9 members beat they curse... I denounced Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity years ago and have seen the difference in how I think and relate to the Lord and the things of God. It is true that “No one can serve two masters. This is so good! I denounced and renounced my affiliation with Delta last year. And the things God revealed to me and the spiritual warfare I had to endure after coming out was intense. Powerful. I was very close to this in college. I got the paperwork and everything. I know that God had his hand on my life. My mother was praying against it. I came across a soror who happened to be soror to my suite mate who did not like me. The soror liked me as a person so much, until she revealed to me that my suite mate, who was her soror found out that I would potentially pledge, was in a meeting telling her sorors, while rubbing her hands together, to bring me to her, because she was planning to HAZE ME. There was a leak in the sorority, it was GOD, using the young lady who liked me as a friend, to come to me in private to let me know of the plan. I immediately changed my mind.
I was going to join and actively pursued it all even went online and quit on my own, alone with no line. It's alot but I could've died. We were all dumb kids!!But God..🙏🏽🙏🏽

Praise the Lord for this! I was a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority and I left the sorority within the first year of joining. I was a Christian for a few years and joined naively. Honestly when I got into the sorority, my high hopes were not met. I just kept thinking to myself, “Is this it? I’m paying loads of money to be a part of this?” And my conscience was never clear. I felt tension in my walk with Christ as I wore those letters and went to the meetings. Everyone was lost and the things we were doing were not bringing me closer to God. It all seemed like vanity, and I was becoming more vain. God arrested my heart one night in my dorm room and spoke through the Holy Spirit so clearly to me to leave that sorority. I knew it was Him and felt so much peace with letting go and have never looked back! It’s a pseudo-church, where people go for acceptance and to do “good works”. But they deny the power of God! God already loved me and accepted me, so I didn’t need to find acceptance in anything but Him!

When He said to me "you cannot serve Me and that", I did not know what the Lord meant. Even though I was not in national or "financial" and not active, the Lord showed me the altar and the oath I had made to another god. Then when I saw a few days later someone from AKA had cut up their letters and had them online, I KNEW what He meant. I cried for hours and repented, denounced and renounced and I praise God for the freedom I have experienced. It is so amazing. I am so thankful for the grace and mercy of God. Psuedo-church! That's good. I'm going to start using that phrasing. I too denounced sgrho and I always said that it felt like church but not church. There is definitely a lot of parallelism.
In 2021, I pledged as a Philo with Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority in Austin, Texas. Was in it for 3 months and left and denounced. My Spiritual leadership whom are Apostles and The Holy Ghost spoke to me at different times telling me to leave the sorority alone and it was not of God. There’s so much behind these sororities and fraternities spiritually that is not seen by natural eyes. I felt such a conviction in my heart and stomach, I personally had to go. I repented, Jesus forgave me and I moved on with my life and walk with God.

I was under demonic attack. I found out that my great grandfather who was born in 1906 was a mason. The Bible tells us that the sins of the father are passed down four generations. I am a part of his fourth generation. I repented and broke all family generational curses and covenants with free masonry. The attacks lessened immediately but were still there. Months later, my aunt mentioned that my great grandmother his wife was an Eastern Star. I went back into the spirit realm repented and denounced/renounced all family covenants and curses attached to that organization. The attacks immediately lessened to almost none. Black people are so thirsty for fake prestige, ghetto notoriety and belonging as a result of being born to neglectful parents that their low self esteem blindly links up with anything that resembles family. If you didn’t ask God if you could be in any of these organizations, you shouldn’t be in it.

Many people go into these organizations not having a clue that it is in direct conflict and violation of God's laws, precepts and commandments. Why? Because many churches and households are not teaching Truth. Nor are they teaching the importance of obedience and walking a righteous path. Churches are teaching the prosperity gospel, leading so many astray. Many people come out of church barely understanding that the wages of sin is death. Open the Bible, sins are documented clearly and the way to live is even clearer. It's great to denounce these organizations, but that is just a drop in the bucket. The question I ask myself daily is am I also applying this level of discipline and obedience in my life daily. This is coming from a former divine 9 member.

A line manager tried to initiate me into a fraternity which I refused . Herself and husband were in the fraternity. She described the process of getting initiated and it’s similar to what is being discussed. She staged my death without success then I was abruptly sacked from work no reason given. Third time I have escaped this experience. I became born again at 8 yrs old and love the Lord since ❤. Lost two jobs cos I refuse to so much as agree with the idea and goo with these persons. Escaped 13 road traffic accidents cos I will not join, punishment was death cos I refused.

That’s the price I had to pay for refusing to get initiated by family member and managers at work… I stood my ground in my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ despite suffering dangerous hardships. I have tasted the deliverance power of God, His divine favour amidst the hardships, His love, I understand the psalms like king David wrote. The pastor of my church is always bragging about the fraternity he belongs to and he’s a Freemason. He influences the younger generation to get involved in these things but yet he’s suppose to be a man of God. I figured out he was a Freemason because another pastor spoke at the church and announced in his sermon that they were a part of the “brotherhood” I ‘ve since stopped going regularly to this church it’s very disappointing to know the pastor is serving two Gods or maybe one more than the other 🤦🏽♀️

Communion! Exactly. I got introduced to all of this in college and more. I would say after I joined is when everything started to fall apart and I was led into new age/ other practices. I was always presented with food.

I never understood why we did weird secret meetings-including ritualistic standards of conduct and creepy group chanting-when I was in a sorority for one year. Everything seemed symbolic in a cheesy way, but where nobody is telling you what the symbol represents. Evil.

In later, seasons of family, Guy, Stewie builds robots, and they become smarter than him and haze him so that he can hang out with them. They forced him to drink a bottle of blue cheese dressing and then when he pukes it up, they tell him that he can hang out only if he gets all of it up and drinks it. It’s incredibly similar to the story. This man is telling.

My grandmother & granddad were affiliated with Greek life. I was told I didn't have to if I didn't want to & so I asked my spirit if that was something I needed to do & the response was no. So I didn't pledge, I did lose some status with ppl, but God had other plans for me. I graduated from the college my mother finished from & I'm very proud of that cause it's not many 2nd generation grads when I finished. I have been asked to join many organizations but my spirit has lead me to do self mastery which serves no other for now. I do believe in servicing the community but not other God's other than self 1st.

There's no such thing as self mastery. Christ Jesus said in the Holy Scriptures that "if anyone is going to follow Me, he/she must deny him/her[self], take up his cross, and follow after Me." Self mastery is a denial of your need for Jesus to have died on the Cross, been buried, and and been raised from the dead. Where did you receive that "spirit" from that you were mentioning?
Why is the creepy strange music included?? It is actually making it difficult to listen to the testimony without feeling fearful. Can interviews like this be recorded without any weird music like this, please?

@Appalachian_Shapeshifter I strongly agree with the Top part definitely tho strongly disagree with the Second sentence you made. Music does bring about Spirits, Either Holy, or Wicked Spirits. Therefore, music is a spiritual gate to people where oppression may come specifically through music.
Also, deliverance may come by hearing music. Deliverance from Evil Spirits as David played the harp for Saul.

I pledged renounced told my close girlfriends including my sisters and they STILL went and they pledged. Fast forward 14 years later, many of them have renounced 🙌🏾. When someone want to be a part of those organizations, the deception is very strong. Keep bringing it up and sewing seeds… Her spirit will bring it up and cause her to see at the appointed time.

This is mind-blowing. I would like someone to talk to us about Rotary clubs. I just denounced my membership in a Rotaract club because of the wild parties that lie behind the "service beyond self".
Please could you explain more? What was the joining process like? What are the rituals if any? We tried to get my Dad not to join this but he did not listen
I'm in a Rotaract Club too and thinking of becoming a Rotarian. One thing I came to understand is that every club decides how it operates. There are clubs that are known for wild parties aside from the service, some that are known for not doing projects, not really meeting and not even doing projects but sponsoring other Rotary or Rotaract Clubs to do their projects (some are even E-clubs so the members very very rarely meet). In my own our idea of a wild party is finishing a fellowship and going to a Rotarians club where we'll have one drink, yawn and go home. So the wild and sexually-free stories you hear about the Rotary organization don't cut across all clubs. I hope this has answered one or two of your questions

@@jacqueline8566 The joining process for Rotaract which I was part of starts with a mentorship period that can range from a month to 3 months or even more where an individual is oriented about what Rotary/Rotaract is, the specific club culture, and all that. During mentorship, an individual must attend community projects and weekly meetings as often as possible to get acquainted with the system. As soon as they are deemed ready, they are taken through an induction ceremony and given a certificate of membership. They are then required to adhere to the rules of the club like weekly "fellowship" meetings and service projects among others.
When I was younger, I wanted to study in the US just to get an opportunity to join one of these Greek Societies. I thought it was the thing to do. Thank God I did not get that visa in 2003. Thank God.

The answer is quite simple, 1990 hazing was abolished. Pledging went underground, everything before that was above ground and observable. Nothing is a secret, it’s all on the internet. People can join these organizations on paper, no problem. Tons of people are members
