Bloody great film Debbie West. Nice and simple. No over the top nonsense. Not enough films of the old timers for me. Sad that the old boy passed on but great that you got him on film not long before he went. RIP
Sadly my father passed away at 85 on the 25 February 2018. Dad's very good friend Winifred (in this video) passed this year too. They are planning a chook show in heaven where all blessed souls unite. RIP my dear father. Much love.

Thanks for this kind of video in preservation of gamefowl.. though most gamebirds today ain't pure anymore but we're trying to get the best & purest bloodline we can get but I think it's impossible nowadays.

Nice vid. I image the old guy knows a lot about rural life in his native country. Here in the States we hear of the “legality” of owning games in Australia. It’d be interesting to speak with him.

what a documentary. I hope you have the information on breeding written down somewhere so it could be used as a guide to a younger generation.
Thanks, Lilly. Winfred's son is continuing with his chooks, and he and Rob both tried to share their knowledge with others. They also both contributed to a book and Winfred also wrote a book.
