Let me highlight here that he became a lawyer by degree because of Mammah Vasta who is intellectually inclined as a person, a poet. May his soul rest in peace
As a son of a military officer who grew up in the barracks,Omo respect the man on kaki because kaki no be leather as my father will always say, bloody civilian na soldier you dey talk to?
Obviously your father was one of the kind of soldiers we don’t want in our society, it’s a privilege to wear that KAKI, it’s not for him to call people bloody civilians or harass them. Have you ever wondered why we don’t celebrate our military that much? It’s because of their evil and oppressive nature, move outside Nigeria and see what civilian and military relationships are like.
Are u okay with the foolish and shameful phrase "bloody civilian"? Are most military people's parents not civilians? Useless neocolonia Nigerian military that nobody respects.
Respect!? You are no doubt a dumb person. So you have respect for a military that refers to the civilians that they're supposedly trained to protect "bloody civilian"? Get civilized, bro
@softdoc631 you misunderstood me,when a soldier says bloody civilian is not to down grade or looked down upon it simply means that what a soldier can endure a civilian may not.
when some uncultured children come around to open their mouths and claim yorubas are cowards, show them this among others. All through the ungodly nigerian project, yoruba elders have put their lives online, refused to run away . Most of them got killed, a few survived. Show me any tribe in nigeria where their so called 'heros' ever stayed to even endure a long prison terms not ot mention readiness to die for the country? From Chief Awolowo, to Akintola, Gani Fawehinmi, Prof Wole Soyinka and hundreds of them
Yes, there are exceptions and exceptionally brave Yoruba people. But overall, many Yoruba people are fearful and cowards. That is why they allowed Tinubu to capture them and make them slaves
Also, I think there’s no better time than now to know the capacity of the Yoruba. Obasanjo was a Nigerian leader and we all saw his achievements as president. Today we have Tinubu who has turned governance into a Yoruba business. Under him and his Yoruba team, Nigeria is now upside down. If Nigeria dies today, to whom should the blame go?
@@alfalfred8722 Soyinka!he was imprisoned for about two years for biafra and civil war struggles. Babangida and then Abacha almost killed him. The man is above 90 years old now, and he has struggled with cancer for many years already. I am an healthcare provider, a doc. By my training, i understand the man has been lucky since decades to still be alive, and must have probably been struggling with a mild form of old-age related illnesses like memory loss. So, i forgive all the mistakes he has made in the past 20years of his living. But, before 2003( when he turned 70), go check the records of this man. Show me any academics of nigerian origin or black origin with such achievements of human right defence? WHAT DOES THIS GENERATION WANT FROM PROF WOLE SOYINKA AGAIN PLEASE? How many of the noise makers of today can show me anyone of his or her tribe with such credibility (academics or non-academics)? This was a man most of the current political ogres rode on his back since 2004 till now to claim powers. I remember how the former governor Fayemi of ekiti state brought this man to ekiti state to commisssion an uncompleted primary school ( fayemi only painted the outside walls where outsider could see but never made any reasonable work of the inner parts of the class rooms), and used that terrible project to embezzle the money of ekiti. Prof wole Soyinka was only made to stand outside and cut the ceremonial tape, and the next thing on the air was a big noise of how fantastic Fayemi was. Prof was at this time above 70 years of age and probably had a serious health challenge. SAME WAY THESE ANIMALS ARE USING HIM TODAY. Does the man know, i guess the answer is , NO. TILL ANYONE POINT OUT A MATCH FOR SOYINKA ON HUMAN RIGHT IN AFRICA AT POLITICAL AND ACADEMIC LEVEL, I REFUSE TO ACCEPT HIS CONDEMNATION BY ANY
Please stop calling abacha a brutal dictator, God has vindicated him, and we now have the like of brutal dictator Tinubu. Even in his old age his doing it well he even prosecuted under age children for excersing their ryt. If I lie clibe street and say u wan protest see..
@olanola2988 hmm... you see the west have made it look as such.. Regardless of age, what is happening in terms of killing in nigeria today is by far worse than that of abacha. Inshort nigerians are praying for d military to take over due to a failed administration.
Tinubu is still learning work where Abacha is, Abacha's regime was so bad there was no Kerosine and people resorted to firewood or is it the killer squad headed by almustapha who now wants to run for presidency?
So, essentially, the country works in unity at the military level; but the egos are explosive and the elites can torture each other with charges you may, simply, laugh at. Out on the streets, there's no trace of order, or beauty. Just each man to himself. In a country more blessed by Nature than most. Hope we realise we are not here forever. And that others are really laughing at our inability to shape up a great nation from such vast resources of human and natural capital.
Brutality of Northerns in power
This this kind of men enough time to tell the Nigerian history. I paised my work to listen to him
Please try to practice good English, so as to be able to communicate effectively. Enough of mediocrity, that is finishing us as a people.
Good job Charles. Very fascinating indeed!!
Real fascinating, brother. Must read book for me
These were signs that buhari should have never come back. Remembering a letter correcting him
I just bought a copy from Amazon Kindle, it costs $9
Nine lives indeed.
Fadile was a lucky man
Let me highlight here that he became a lawyer by degree because of Mammah Vasta who is intellectually inclined as a person, a poet. May his soul rest in peace
Mr. Charles there are lot of revelations from Col. Fadile why very short slot of interview?
Abacha regime was terrible everybody felt it , anyway thank God we survived it
Same way Tinubu's gov't is a disaster that all are feeling it. Tnx God that will survive it & it will become history
How can I get the book, please???

A soldier who calls civilians "bloody civilians " and doesn't see them fit to even talk to him deserves no respect.
Sorry to say that
@softdoc631 you misunderstood me,when a soldier says bloody civilian is not to down grade or looked down upon it simply means that what a soldier can endure a civilian may not.

Just remove Soyinka from the list anyway.

People get kiddnaped & killed for speaking.
