Jerry has no idea how bad and detrimental this incident was. It reflects his true character. Threatening someone that is only doing his job just because he is frustrated and angry over the team HE CREATED is totally unacceptable. Not a fan anymore. I believe this will destroy what little unity existed with the organization.

Jerry Jones retirement will not help the Cowboys as much as a lot of people think. Yes, Jerry is old, crotchety, and likes to take credit for anything good in Dallas, while lashing out at anyone and everyone when things inevitably go sour. He likes being the team spokesman, enjoys the spotlight, and is more than willing take the heat that comes with it. But Jerry isn't really the guy running the show in Dallas these days, Stephen is. Jerry takes point and the heat to proect him, but Stephen is calling most of the shots. When Jerry dies or becomes incapacitated -- which will happen sooner than later -- very little will change for the Cowboys. Stephen will inherit the team and it will be (bad) business as usual.

Jimmy Johnson built those championship teams of the 90’s and everyone including Jerry knows that. What he did was yesterday was obnoxious, sad, and disturbing all at once. I watch the Cowboys every game because it’s a time for our family to get together and enjoy each other’s company. That though is the extent of our support. They certainly don't play like it, but they are still the most talked about team in the NFL and until people stop paying attention to the cowboys that name is going to stick with them, but people keep tuning in to cowboys related news or videos in general so it doesn't look like it's going to end anytime soon 😐

I have been a Cowboys fan for about 60 years since watching the team play YA Tittle and the Giants in the Cotton Bowl in the early 60's. We had so many good years and now for the last 30 years this has been one of the worst teams in the NFL based on what really matters - post season play. Clint Murchison built the Cowboys into America's Team and then Jerry destroyed it. Too bad he will not take accountability for his obvious failures. He always talks about how important it is for himself as the owner to do what it is best for the team and the fans. If he really meant that he would sell the team right now.

The problem with the Cowboys is with the general manager. Theres no accountability. As a GM, Jerry wants draft picks to be the only way to get better. Theres Free agents, undrafted free agents and trades as well. The GM isnt doing even mediocre in the last 3. Risk management wise, the GM being the owner when someone else is doing the player personnel work but have to go to another man to make a decision. There isnt a heirarchy of accountability and decision making. The phrase "All-In" was a mistake. He wont admit he was lying, hes been lying and Cowboys fans just see it this year.
Talking about the Dak era. Was Dallas going to win during Romo? Was Dallas going to win with Parcells? Stop showing your jealousy about Daks contract. The GM and owner made the decision. Hold him accountable. The game of the NFL is to pay the top players and underpay everyone else. Theres a supply problem of decent QBs. Backup qbs have won Superbowls. Hostetler, Williams, Dilfer, Foles. Dilfer was the first starting quaterback of a superbowl winning team to not be re-signed. He wasnt starter level. Im a Ravens fan.
    Good luck Cowboys fans!
