Jamie, thank you for the outlet you've provided me this year - it's been an escape where I don't have to see people's r'ships shoved in my face after a traumatic time that I'm still trying to heal from. It's the one channel I come to when I don't want to think anymore and just want some light-hearted relief.

The Revlon blowdry brush seriously ruined my hair so I'm glad you said this! My hair was down to right above my butt and was pretty thick, I grew it out to my completely natural color so no damage from any dye, I didn't use any other heat on my hair, I use salon recommended products, and I started using this and my hair is truly damaged that it's brought me to tears multiple times and I haven't been able to get it cut because of the pandemic. Nearly every strand of hair is broken and has split ends, there are short pieces that are the length of my ear now that still have split ends and look damaged despite being so short, and I've found so many gummy pieces. I even cut off 6 inches myself and the split ends and damage never seem to end, plus the ends become so dry that when I use oil to hydrate them, the ends STILL feel dry. I took such great care of my hair that there was no excuse for it to be so damaged. It sounds so dumb, but I took a lot of pride in my hair and seeing how ruined it is now has been so disappointing and has honestly affected my confidence (I know it's dramatic but it's what made me feel pretty, and now I feel hopeless over it). When I get it all cleaned up, it'll probably barely make it to my shoulders despite having been so long before. It makes me cringe when people rave about the Revlon one now.

I have Revlon blow dry brush and I love it! I use a heat protectant from kendra before hand. I let that soak in and then when my hair is semi dry, I use the Revlon blow dryer. I don't use it everyday, but when I do. I love it.

This year I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata after having sudden circular bald patches on my hair which lead me to seeing my dermatologist a lot and that is where I discovered SkinCeuticals! I was suffering from extremely dry skin and acne (all related to my hormones) and I decided to invest in my skin care instead of buying every skincare product and makeup. My skin has NEVER looked better! I use their daily cleanser, their Phloretin CF serum, their Blemish + Age Defense serum and their Emollience rich restorative moisturizer and I no longer get acne, my skin is hydrated, smooth and bright.
2020 has been a terrible year but I did get my skin and Alopecia Areata under control!!

I totally agree with the Revlon brush it gets so hot and there’s no way to control it. My hair felt so dry and frizzy after using it every day.

SAME with thinking I had dry skin and it was just dehydrated. Hyaluronic acid serums saved my life. The Ordinary, Hada Labo... now i'm trying Vichy's Mineral 89.

@@TashPalmer dry skin means that your skin lacks oil. Dehydrated skin means your skin lacks water. The channel Beauty Within has a video or two explaining it using science and stuff. Dry skin is a skin type. Dehydrated skin is a condition.
Me when I discovered I don't have combo skin but dehydrated normal skin
I thought for the longest time I had oily skin but no, I have normal skin and when I was a teenager I cleansed my skin too much and used all kinds of harsh sh*t on my face which stripped my skin🙃 I only get the tiniest bit oily around my nose but besides that my face is normal

I kept piling heavy products on my skin and it was never satisfied, I never understood it was dehydrated and not dry. Toners and hyaluronic acid and a humidifier have changed my life!
