    You need to cut your costs on yout food shop and eating out. In regards to luch bring you own lunch every day with the produce you get from the food shopping. Cut off hello fresh, takeways etc. Cooking youf osn food with pasta, rice, flour, vegetables, fruit. For drinks you can do filtered water, lemon water, lemon and ginger, coffeee, tea, and smoothies from the fruit you got from the food shop. Get reduced to clear items when you can and if you are near a tesco get a clubcard. Doing this you would save significantly.

    Can you do a video on how much software engineers actually make in London, and not just based off glassdoor estimates and things but from your experience what the salary ladder looks like from grad to senior

      I will speak to a few people who're senior and come up with a video as I am pretty new to working so I only know from glassdoor what senior engineers make

    Thank you for the video, very informative 😊
    I’m think about moving to London, and saw a lot of videos where people say it’s cold in the apartment in winter.
    How much could electricity cost if not to save money on the heat and have as much warm as you want?😊
    You said electricity costs you 80£, seems it’s not much and looks affordable

      This video was made before the cost of heating increased a lot. However, in my new place that is much more efficient it costs me £70 per month, however my rent is higher at my new place.

    Bro I would like to go master Cybersecurity in London with no experience is it easy to get intership in London in IT field or Cybersecurity?

      I'd say it may be challenging because getting a tech role in London is quite competitive, however there is demand so it may not be as difficult as it may first seem. But ultimately, I don't know how easy it really is as I've not done it

      In the UK

    I'm not from the UK (but moving there is something I have on the back of my mind), so I have a few questions. First, what's the minimum wage in the UK? On average, how much do software engineers get paid? And lastly, do you think living in London is considered "only for the rich"? Is your rent considered high or low for London's standards?

    • @SA64R
      @SA64R  2 года назад +2

      You can check minimum wage here as it depends on age: www.acas.org.uk/national-minimum-wage-entitlement
      It really varies as the highest software engineering salaries are in London but on a UK scale average is around £38k to £47k.
      To live a comfortable life in London I'd say you need to be earning at least £50k per year as this means you won't need to be reliant on needing to house share and will have money left over to invest
