I think the big issue with Sentry is less the actual volume of his buff but more the intention behind it. It's a good buff don't get me wrong but multi fight everest content is not a dime a dozen for Sentry. Necropolis is a small blip in time for a lot of players so his R3 doesn't feel justifiable when he will be used for 3 quests tops. I feel like the Sentry buff wasn't made for the current BG/war focused game and that's because there will be changes to EQ and Incursions for 2025. Either way Sentry is definitely out of place and that is where the mixed reactions come from.
Get 20charges of bulwark and throw any specials, you then go to his next phase where you do medium and light attacks, get 20 bulwark buffs doing that and throw another special, you then move to his next phase which is heavy phase where you throw heavy attacks and get 20 bulwark buffs doing then and do another special. After that, you get one warp charge, you get extra warp by winning . So if you do it correctly, you should get 2 charges per match but since it’s necro, you can literally get 10 ramps in one fight
I love me some ramp up champs, my favorite being Aegon. So I do like Sentry’s buff but idk, it feels like he needs a small buff or something. If you were to buff/change something about Sentry’s kit what you do? Personally, I think that heavy stun ability should work like the rest of them, being able to heavy before ending a combo.
@ adding on BW ((OG) w. Hulk / Hulk Buster is pretty clutch too for the stun on special attacks (50% chance if you use both Hulk / Hulk Buster w, BW - but not enough room, 25% it is ,, allows for more hits, faster ramping up in fights by going through the phases faster.
I haven't completed Necropolis 100% yet, who would be the perfect paths for Sentry? Likely build Aegon too and add a reverse immune champ for the collector.
Try with suicides when he is ramp up u wont use specials so no recoil and 20 regens from sp3 is going to compansate frist 3 specials and use mr fantastic pre fights
Hi Nagase, I have Sentry Duped and I have only done the easy path back when Necro came out… Im thinking about trying to go through too 100% are their fights he can’t take on paths? What should I keep him away from
What the champ he is! Not exactly my type of champ, but maybe in the future he can get the rankup. Also who do you reckon I will have the easiest time doing Necro with: R3 Wong, R3 Sentry or R5 ascended max sig AEgon?

I have much nostalgia tax when it comes to this game and remember, whenAEgon was the absolute goat and the most hunted champ by all people so if he isn't much worse than Sentry, I might still try it with him :D
@NAGASE many like me have only done one path of necro. Would be great if you could do some videos of path teams as most videos out there are not taking in considerations the great champs we got this year like sentry buff. Great content idea for you I believe

Idk that’s kinda where I’m at cause if there’s going to be more content that warrants this amount of damage then I’ll just use a generic and r3 him but how long will we have to wait to see something beyond the ten year challenges?

I think sentry probably does the best when he works, but wing and Kate work for almost every fight. So sentry and one of the other two and your probably good
When kabam wants to destroy good champ, they put all his damage in heavy attack, they know heavy attack will not always available for you in endgame content, you must parry and stun the defender first and most endgame defenders are stun immune
While I agree fully ramped up he is pretty ridiculous and underrated, definitely not the top damage by far. I'll not mention the expected cgr, but ill mention hela. Aside past bugs that were unintentional, and if we leave aside nerfs (like old scarlet witch classic etc) hela is objectively top 1 damage dealer. Risky but if we focus on pure damage theres no debate. And we don't talk about utility, PURE damage per minute.

This is how champs get overlooked because players are unappreciative when it comes to buffed champs or reworks. IMO I think sentry’s potential and kit is for mid-long form content. People need to realize that because with new content coming out, there’s going to be larger health pulls and Sentry can deal with it. Keep pushing out content to show that new power of sentry 🤩🤩🙌💪🏾
they need to give him something for battlegrounds. i don’t like champions like aegon and sentry where their only use is going to be in everest content. i like the character sentry, i want to use him elsewhere
Every champs cant be for BG..some like wong aegon shuri are long form based,n necro is not the end,still story will extend its wings with stronger n harder paths with tanky defenders n be ready for longer fights,der u will feel blessed either to have him n northstar or be sad abt not having dem in roster
