Hello GYZ welcome to Arduino Project and in this tutorial, i will show how to make a smart street light system easily.
WORKING: -
When it's Dark the LDR will switch on all the LED's and their brightness will be full / 5 (255 / 5) and when any obstacle is detected by the IR sensor the respected LED will glow with full brightness for 3 sec
If required do the modification in the code and Do the connection as per the code

Sir is there any command beside delay(); ? im having trouble with my project. cuz Blocking functions prevent a program from doing anything else until that particular task has completed. this project need multitasking command right?
No delay function is used to keep the lights ON for few seconds and the code is 100% working
And the code is not multitasking, set of instructions get implemented when the condition is true

Can we use SONAR instead of IR sensor here? N what's difference will it cause if no
IR and sonar (ultrasonic sensor) both work very differently, ir sensor uses infrared light and sonar sensor uses sound waves and i have written code code for ir and if you want to use sonar sensor then you have to change the code because we have to declare triggering destance in that case

It depends on you, both the sensors are accurate but in ultrasonic sensor you have advantage of long distance and during sunlight ir sensor dont work properly but ultrasonic works well and if you use ultrasonic sensor then you have to write a new code for it and if you use ir sensor then use my code directly

Directly through usb cable comes with arduino or if you want to use external power supply then connect the positive terminal of the battery to vin pin of arduino and negative terminal to gnd

LDR sensor didn’t get connection though i connect as you showed
sir it is doing opposite of what it should be doing that is glowing in brightness and getting off in dark

Circuit diagram is very simple, once you open it you will understand how the connection is dne

We have made the connection as you show in the video but it is not working
Where to put positive and negative leg of led
Positive the longer 1 will go to digital pin of arduino and negative the shorter 1 will go to gnd
Can we connect two Leds two single ir sensor? ?
Yes you can but you have to initialise the pin no of the led and set them high when there is a car in if else loop
Instead can be join the negative legs of two leds together...and the same we we can do with positive legs and then follow the same circuit by treating that as a single led joint (as shown in the circuit i.e. one led with one ir sensor) ??

But prower will be divided between both the leds...
Try it will work ..connect the negative of both the leds to gnd and positive to the signal pin of arduino

Hai can anyone help? My 1st and 3rd led doesn't light up well in normal situation but it's working fine when ir sensor is being hit. I've follow every step in the video and i just couldn't figure it out what's wrong here
I've change the led, change the led wire, change the led position but still it's the same. The 1st and the 3rd led not working correctly
