What a keynote? I’m a bit older than you. But fundamentally humbled. This is Presidential grade stuff Jordan. Very well done. Sir. From the corrupt hole of South Africa.
Land ownership is not farming. Love this statement as we have a lot of land owned by traditional owners of Fiji but they do not work the land here in Fiji. Thank you for sharing this.
Wow, thats a great key note. I've watched most of your videos and if its been mentioned I've never caught the background story. I always felt the similarities to Polyface; now it makes sense.
This took me by surprise I’ve been a fan of your channel for so long (couple of years) and never knew your beginnings. Joel has also taught me a lot and jocko is a awesome channel it’s funny how all different channels talk about the same base for life and bussiness. Keep up the GREAT work and I will be a loyal watcher.
Wow. Wow. I'm fixated on buying a farm. I need to let that go. This is not the first time I have been told to start with MARKETING. Relationships. I don't know a single rancher. Not many here in NJ. I need to find the few here. I know where a factory chicken house is, but I have never been there. Back to the beginning of the speech.
Is there a business book or course you can recommend that covers best practices for taxes and legal stuff for setting up new farm businesses? Do you save roughly 30% of profits per year to pay the dang government or do you do it quarterly? Is that even a right percentage for agriculture businesses or is it less. Just hiring it out to lawyers and accountants without understanding seems like a bad idea.
I'm not in your country but very thank you for your tips.
This man is a hell of great speaker full of great common sense

South Africa? You should know about Allan Savory there in Zimbabwe and his work at the Africa Centre.

Man I hate I missed this event. Great speech Jordan.
We'll see you soon!
I consider Jordan Greene to be one of the BEST teachers anywhere! Thanks for the knowledge and inspiration!

Introverts do raise our hands. We just don't want you to single us out afterwards 😂. Extroverts raise their hand and get excited when singled out 😂
True.
Thank you
When I saw Joel speaking, I thought it was going to be Joel Salatin doing the Keynote. This was a nice surprise.
