Part 1: McNally Street Entrance to the Coastal Track Start
🏞️ Welcome to Mighty Mark Runner!
In this first part of my trail run adventure through Noosa National Park, I begin at the lesser-known McNally Street entrance, diving straight into the lush and tranquil Tanglewood Track.
🌿 Trail Overview:
The Tanglewood Track stretches approximately 4 km and winds through dense bushland with towering eucalyptus trees and shaded pathways. The compact dirt trail is well-maintained but offers a few rocky patches and roots, keeping it exciting for trail running enthusiasts.
🛤️ Trail Experience:
The peaceful environment is perfect for connecting with nature, with only the sounds of rustling leaves and chirping birds as your soundtrack. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including goannas and the occasional koala resting high in the trees. Navigation is straightforward thanks to trail markers, but it's always wise to remain mindful of the track's intersections.
