Really like your installs by good friend but you should use a pointer when you're working in a small area like this to show us where the LED or HID light bulb is before you do the install because I could not see where the above was because none of the adequate lighting down there so it would help if you get a pointer stick and you can use a set up Chinese chopsticks and use one as a pointer to point to the object that needs to be pulled out for the installation with the high beam LED headlight bulbs and for all of your installations into integrat areas you put light on them use that long Chopsticks as a pointer

Chris, I too purchased a pair of LEDs for my bike. As was commented by Duane, spreading the heat sinks is important as you did. The instructions that came with mine also suggested to "balloon" those individual heat sinks to further enhance the cooling properties. Good luck with those lights and safe riding.

One of the best videos I've seen for this bulb - Thanks for the great tips, too!

Chris, the stick and the marker, very smart to think of them. Looks like more work than I want to do, lol. Good job as all ways

I pull the dash panel out gives you a little more room to work with a see. My 08 has three plugs on the back of the dash.

Thanks for the video, will be showing a pic with the lights on? I have HIDs, just interested, will go Led once my ballasts and or bulbs burn out. No Big Bike Parts or Show Chrome for me, terrible warranty and customer service. Dressed my Goldwing and my Dad’s trike in all of their accessories, but no help on warranty items. Thanks again for your contributions to the Goldwing community❗️😎

The current Pathfinder LEDs for the GL1800 don’t require cutting the boots, which was a deal breaker for me.

I remember changing mine, it was tight especially if you have a big arm

So unlike the they brand, i see there is no need to cut the boot at all. Just pun and play?. Can the installation be done without removing the dash fairing?

I can't hardly believe how hard they make it to change a bulb.

Hey Chris good video man, did you modified the rubber boot for this install like other LED manufactures require to do so. I bought a kit before and sent it back I wasn't going to cut or modified it to fit some Chinese LED's on my Wing.

Chris, did you only install them in the low beam? I didn't see a video on how they look/worked. Did you do one?
