This is the first positive review of this car I’ve seen. Well done. I’d probably spec it with the “AMG High Performance Mobile Support Package” for $2,600 as well. I hear it gives access to a very impressive tow truck.
this is definitely my dream electric car it's good to see someone who actually rates this car fairly rather than calling it a trash car just because of the exterior, which in my opinion, doesn't look as bad as many describe it.
One of the best, most concise reviews I’ve seen on this car (and trust me, I’ve watched a lot of them 😂). Thanks for the honest review. This is my #1 pick and will probably be in my garage in the next 30 days. Only thing left to decide is…. Color 😎
My EQS580 with maximum recuperation and comfort mode driving is delivering up to 459 mi range. It may deliver more in economy mode and less in sport mode, but I am thrilled with it’s range. My rating is 90 out of 100. It needs an over the air software upgrade to auto lock all doors when you walk away from the vehicle. Recuperation should be a profile setting and not reset to off for every use. For a very smart vehicle, it makes no sense to have an ON/OFF button. Please update software for a profile option to bypass it. All these features are available in a much lower priced Tesla and surely MB can do it too.
@@517sf6 I wish that was true. Maybe you have different software, but mine requires pressing nuisance ON button for vehicle to accept Drive mode. Also, after pressing Park, I want to exit vehicle and have it know I want Off w/o pressing a button. Let’s take this one step further. Since I’m walking away from vehicle, it should auto-lock. Sadly, these features aren’t available, unless you have a Tesla.
I’ve seen several in SF and it is the most breathtaking Benz this of the 300 SL (Gullwing). The EQS follows this path rather than either being stately or utilitarian like the super dependable executive cars like the W115 or the W123. I hope the EQS design language becomes Benz’s overarching design language.
Good analysis, but you forgot to answer the question that every potential AMG buyer asks: "Does it deserve an AMG badge?" I have tested one as well, and in my humble opinion it doesn't. AMG buyers want the full experience, not just performance. No more bangs between gear changes, no more vibrations and roars from the V8, you just can't compare the driving experience to a "traditional" AMG. So, just call it something else, it's not an AMG, and the aficionados of the brand will not be hypnotized by the hyper screen or the fancy led lighting...

U can just put ur foot on the brake and bypass the on off button. It’s just there for people who want it

Your analysis is correct and I accept , but I was waiting to watch or hear if you test her brake, and also her price , else you said the correct .👍
