I think this is my favorite video I’ve watched on your channel!! Marty, Anthony and Greg’s enthusiasm was so fun to watch. I hope this is not taken disrespectfully but Anthony was giving me Bill Murray in What About Bob vibes and I was LOVING it. He speaks with such truth and gets so excited. Marty was entertained by Anthony but had this kind, grounded way about him. They both seem very intelligent! Sheena was like the wise teacher and was a great addition! This was funny but kind of concerning at the same time. Anthony was funny about his experience n it shows that having a lighter heart about these situations is best n just removing urself n staying within ur limitations of a location n energy. This stuff is very real regardless if a person believes in it or not.
Just wanted to let you guys know that I absolutely love your videos!! I'm currently a first year medical student and watching you guys is the only thing getting me through it. Me and my best friend went to this old country park near where I live last night and we were messing about making our own 'ghost investigation' video and literally heard super loud footsteps behind us right when I stopped recording. VERY VERY CREEPY. There was no one there but us and it was pitch black, we also heard this drumming noise coming from the woods so safe to say we ran back to the car and got out of there real quick!!
Small side note: Maglite is the name of the company. They have been around for decades. You turn them on via button (larger models), or twisting 2 contacts till they meet (small models). It has nothing to do with “magnets” inside, and there are none. Entertaining as always! Best wishes

I laughed so much during this video I absolutely loved how raw and real it was to. Amazing show and hide guys are hilarious, I hope he got rid of that negative attachment. Right after he saged they smelled that gross smell I think that non human spirit left him and that’s why they smelled it .
It becomes scary when you get affected by a spirit and/or entity. It is like being a completely different person, only understanding that 'it is not you' after the event has passed. I get why they were freaking out, it's a very uncomfortable experience to have. Like Mackie and Sheena said the veil was thinner, so it's easier to effect energy surrounding them. Fresh air... away from the area, and cleansing your body with Sage is always important. I hope they come back for another investigation. 💖

This was interesting but I've got to be honest, I didn't enjoy this one. It could have been great but Anthony became more than just a little annoying. I don't know if it was a spirit/entity, or if he just got carried away, but he ended up being like the drunk uncle at a family reunion, saying everything that came into his head, seemingly without thinking, and talking over everyone as loud as possible to make himself heard. I don't know if it was a bit he was doing, if that's just what he's like, or what, but it continued long after he apologised to Mr. & Mrs. Newland. I can imagine that it's easy to let the emotions run wild and all the excitement, the nerves, the fear, all the adrenaline coursing through your veins just takes over, but Matty couldn't get a sentence out for his outro without being cut off or talked over, and it was the same when Mackie and Sheena tried to talk earlierbin the vid, he'd just talk over them. And he was _so_ loud that I had to turn the volume down which meant I could barely hear the others talking and definitely couldn't hear the taps, the whispers and voices, even the stomps (thank goodness Mackie puts what happens on screen!) I'm sorry if I'm being a bitch, I don't mean to be, and Anthony, if you are seeing this I don't mean to cause offense. But, it got really old, really quickly. Everyone else was talking quiet-ish and you went on and on at max volume! I'm really hoping y'all do a part two of this, I'd love to see you all investigate the rest of the Newland home, and I was looking forward to see Greg go it alone in "The Doll Room" so I hope you come back for that. But can someone talk to Anthony before filming, explain you need to talk quietly so the mics pick up any knocks, bangs, taps, voices etc. and ask him to let people finish speaking before he starts so that it's not just people talking over each other, again, so that we can hear activity (especially since noises are a common occurence at The Newland Family Home) and so we can hear other people's experiences and perspectives. I get it possibly wasn't his fault but still... As I'm moaning and being a bitch, please use a different Rem Pod. The square one is so quiet, which would be great if it's just Mackie and Amanda in a hotel room and they're not wanting to disturb other guests - y'all are quiet enough so we would still hear when it goes off. But in The Newland House there's no one to disturb, there's always a lot going on and so the camera may not be pointed at the Rem Pod and so being able to hear it, especially with loud, excitable, possibly "po-ssessed" folk about 😜, would be really handy. It would also be cool to do more Spirit Box sessions in the house as the spirits are always really chatty there. To Nolie - way to go, man! You did great! I dunno if you're a skeptic or a believer, if you've experienced stuff before or not, but regardless, this was your frist investigation _and_ your first time being camera man! You were thrown well and truly in the deep end but you did an awesome job! Maybe you could film both Mackie and Amanda in the future, who knows? But even if we don't see you again, you still did a fab job. As usual, much love to the Spooky Boos and to Sheena, keep up the great work! Hopefully Amanda is all better now, if not I hope you feel better soon. Mackie, keep up the great work, from all the research and history to conducting awesome investigations. And Sheena, please do more investigations with the SpookyBoos - your friendly warmth, your wisdom and experience, your knowledge and your gift...it's always a pleasure watching and learning from you. Just to make my point, then I'll shut up, Matty starts his outro where he's trying to say thank you to Mackie, Sheena, the spirits of The Newland House and everyone else at 45:42 and he finishes/gives up at 47:43. In that time I counted 9 separate times where Anthony talks over Matty, cutting him off. At the time he says "it [a spirit/entity] is making him talk" and then outside a couple of mins later he says "when I was doing that bit for the outro, Matty does not talk, like he doesn't go on and on and on like that ever...he's never done that before...coz he was talking and I knew for a fact coz he doesn't go on and on like that coz Matty prepares, anybody who knows Matty, he prepares the ends of his speech but he kept going and I was like 'woah, what is this?' ...I also think you were not yourself" to which Matty says "well, I was nervous." I'd go on and on and on, too! If you know he has a speech prepared why not let him say it? I counted 9 times where Matty was trying to say something and Anthony says something loudly, cutting him right off, and that's not including other times Antony talked over other people like Greg and Mackie in those _2 minutes_! Matty looked like he was getting frustrated, and the good Lord knows I was getting frustrated for him. And knowing it was a "bit" and that I can't write it off as spirit attachment/influence/po-session just...urgh! I hate confrontation but I would have called Anthony out! I get they're friends or colleagues or whatever and they probably know how each other behaves, Matty probably knows Anthony does "bits" like that. But, Anthony, let the guy speak! And don't do bits during an investigation, we're here for the spirits, for the activity and the communication, we're here for Mackie and Amanda! Anyone else - Sheena, Matty, Greg, Anthony - they're all bonuses (or most are 😜). We're not here to see someone try to be a stand up comic, to see the guests try to be the star of the show, to hell with everyone else. It just really, really bugs me. 😅 There, I'm done, I'm shutting up now 😂

I believe both Anthony and Maddie were acting out of character because of all the craziness that was going on in that house. Remember that Mackie and I are used to that house so we just dismiss the crazy and also remember that Mackie and I both live in very active homes, so are used to it going on all the time around us. Just wanted to let you guys know that I absolutely love your videos!! I'm currently a first year medical student and watching you guys is the only thing getting me through it. Me and my best friend went to this old country park near where I live last night and we were messing about making our own 'ghost investigation' video and literally heard super loud footsteps behind us right when I stopped recording. VERY VERY CREEPY. There was no one there but us and it was pitch black, we also heard this drumming noise coming from the woods so safe to say we ran back to the car and got out of there real quick!!
Small side note:
Maglite is the name of the company. They have been around for decades. You turn them on via button (larger models), or twisting 2 contacts till they meet (small models).
It has nothing to do with “magnets” inside, and there are none.

It becomes scary when you get affected by a spirit and/or entity. It is like being a completely different person, only understanding that 'it is not you' after the event has passed. I get why they were freaking out, it's a very uncomfortable experience to have.

This was interesting but I've got to be honest, I didn't enjoy this one. It could have been great but Anthony became more than just a little annoying. I don't know if it was a spirit/entity, or if he just got carried away, but he ended up being like the drunk uncle at a family reunion, saying everything that came into his head, seemingly without thinking, and talking over everyone as loud as possible to make himself heard. I don't know if it was a bit he was doing, if that's just what he's like, or what, but it continued long after he apologised to Mr. & Mrs. Newland. I can imagine that it's easy to let the emotions run wild and all the excitement, the nerves, the fear, all the adrenaline coursing through your veins just takes over, but Matty couldn't get a sentence out for his outro without being cut off or talked over, and it was the same when Mackie and Sheena tried to talk earlierbin the vid, he'd just talk over them. And he was _so_ loud that I had to turn the volume down which meant I could barely hear the others talking and definitely couldn't hear the taps, the whispers and voices, even the stomps (thank goodness Mackie puts what happens on screen!)
I'm sorry if I'm being a bitch, I don't mean to be, and Anthony, if you are seeing this I don't mean to cause offense. But, it got really old, really quickly. Everyone else was talking quiet-ish and you went on and on at max volume! I'm really hoping y'all do a part two of this, I'd love to see you all investigate the rest of the Newland home, and I was looking forward to see Greg go it alone in "The Doll Room" so I hope you come back for that. But can someone talk to Anthony before filming, explain you need to talk quietly so the mics pick up any knocks, bangs, taps, voices etc. and ask him to let people finish speaking before he starts so that it's not just people talking over each other, again, so that we can hear activity (especially since noises are a common occurence at The Newland Family Home) and so we can hear other people's experiences and perspectives. I get it possibly wasn't his fault but still...
As I'm moaning and being a bitch, please use a different Rem Pod. The square one is so quiet, which would be great if it's just Mackie and Amanda in a hotel room and they're not wanting to disturb other guests - y'all are quiet enough so we would still hear when it goes off. But in The Newland House there's no one to disturb, there's always a lot going on and so the camera may not be pointed at the Rem Pod and so being able to hear it, especially with loud, excitable, possibly "po-ssessed" folk about 😜, would be really handy. It would also be cool to do more Spirit Box sessions in the house as the spirits are always really chatty there.
To Nolie - way to go, man! You did great! I dunno if you're a skeptic or a believer, if you've experienced stuff before or not, but regardless, this was your frist investigation _and_ your first time being camera man! You were thrown well and truly in the deep end but you did an awesome job! Maybe you could film both Mackie and Amanda in the future, who knows? But even if we don't see you again, you still did a fab job.

Just to make my point, then I'll shut up, Matty starts his outro where he's trying to say thank you to Mackie, Sheena, the spirits of The Newland House and everyone else at 45:42 and he finishes/gives up at 47:43. In that time I counted 9 separate times where Anthony talks over Matty, cutting him off. At the time he says "it [a spirit/entity] is making him talk" and then outside a couple of mins later he says "when I was doing that bit for the outro, Matty does not talk, like he doesn't go on and on and on like that ever...he's never done that before...coz he was talking and I knew for a fact coz he doesn't go on and on like that coz Matty prepares, anybody who knows Matty, he prepares the ends of his speech but he kept going and I was like 'woah, what is this?' ...I also think you were not yourself" to which Matty says "well, I was nervous."
I'd go on and on and on, too! If you know he has a speech prepared why not let him say it? I counted 9 times where Matty was trying to say something and Anthony says something loudly, cutting him right off, and that's not including other times Antony talked over other people like Greg and Mackie in those _2 minutes_! Matty looked like he was getting frustrated, and the good Lord knows I was getting frustrated for him. And knowing it was a "bit" and that I can't write it off as spirit attachment/influence/po-session just...urgh! I hate confrontation but I would have called Anthony out! I get they're friends or colleagues or whatever and they probably know how each other behaves, Matty probably knows Anthony does "bits" like that. But, Anthony, let the guy speak! And don't do bits during an investigation, we're here for the spirits, for the activity and the communication, we're here for Mackie and Amanda! Anyone else - Sheena, Matty, Greg, Anthony - they're all bonuses (or most are 😜). We're not here to see someone try to be a stand up comic, to see the guests try to be the star of the show, to hell with everyone else. It just really, really bugs me. 😅

Thanks for the observations and the lovely comments. I loved investigating with all of these people and you have to remember that really heavily haunted locations change people. I believe both Anthony and Maddie were acting out of character because of all the craziness that was going on in that house. Remember that Mackie and I are used to that house so we just dismiss the crazy and also remember that Mackie and I both live in very active homes, so are used to it going on all the time around us.
