I'm a musician who's played punk, post punk, noise, jazz and now improv metal and I'll always appreciate someone like Nick who can make a song sound effortless, natural.
Absolutely love this video. I don't buy into the whole Law of Attraction thing 100% but this interview makes a powerful case for it. A just-turned-40 Nick states how he's convinced he's just getting started as a songwriter, and how he'll both look and sound great at 60. Well, that pronouncement *has* aged well, not just at age 60 but 70 and (all indications are) well beyond. Inspiring stuff.
I’m in my mid-twenties, grew up with my dad listening to Nick Lowe constantly. Cracking Up is one of the first songs I can remember hearing in my life. Saw Nick live a few months ago with my dad - who had seen him many a time in pubs back in the day - and he was absolutely amazing!
He got that right about being 60! He looks great with his white hair and The Convincer is the best record he has ever done. Infact his last 3-4 records have all been great.
Rick-rolling ppl before they knew what memes even were! (It WAS ghastly! So glad the kids turned it on its ear X amount of years later...godawful song back then!!)
having a hard time getting over the fact that behind Lowe is a scaled down, full body, full frontal statue of a guy with a sword in his right hand holding up a severed head for inspection with his left. Just sayin'
Omg this was SO GOOD 👍👍👍👍

Makes it look as natural as breathing

A master songwriter / singer and performer. Long live Nick Lowe.
What a voice! Aside from ever other accolade you could give him, Nick is one of the best vocalists ever.
Saw Nick last night. This guy is a prince and he's right - he's BETTER THAN EVER.
I sang Cruel to be Kind at a karaoke disco last Christmas 2022 and it went down a storm - just shows a great song wont die.
Thanks for the video. A charming guy. I have always been a big fan. I knew the music and now , with this video , I now know the man better.
