Hello, I just subscribed your channel! We were on the Meraviglia for the first time in Nov 2024, so many Chinese (big aunties & uncles) speaking so loud in the buffet😱 The cruise ship had put up a small sign covered with plastic at every buffet table (English language asking passengers do not occupy the table over 45 mins, the Chinese language telling passengers cannot play MahJong and cards as gambling is not allowed). I had been on Carnival, Norwegian, Royal and Celebrity, I feel that MSC buffet food quality and choices was better than the other 3 cruises (except Celebrity)! There was no Smoked salmon and hash browns in Norwegian 😠 If we see similar good deals like last Nov $455 per person for balcony, we will definitely cruise with MSC again!!
What we saw was so familiar! It seems like these uncles and aunties have their own way of cruising. MSC is such a great bang for the buck, which attracts all sorts of people-some of whom, honestly, drive me a little crazy. But I still absolutely love MSC! Especially since Norwegian Cruise Line keeps hiking up their prices without improving the food. Meanwhile, MSC manages to keep their amazing low prices and make their food even better. Hi Alison, thanks for the video. We will be on this ship in few weeks. Can I ask you a few questions? 1) does the fire drill still the same? Watch safety TV at a fixed time call in then go to muster station to scan the card? 2) does the buffet menu change daily or pretty much the similar food every day?
Feel free to ask any questions! Yep, both times I was on that cruise, I stayed in my room watching the safety drill video until they notified us to go scan our room key cards. Not sure if they’ve changed it now, but since European cruise lines are usually stricter, I doubt it’s any different. For the buffet, breakfast is pretty much the same every day, and lunch doesn’t change much either. Dinner, though, is the best-it has the most variety. Some main dishes from the main dining room even show up at the buffet, just without the fancy plating. I’d recommend checking the menu at the free main dining room first to see what they’ve got, then decide where to eat. Or you can just try both-can’t go wrong with that! I wish you have a great trip 😊

可能在NY出發所以多大媽大叔, 我多次在船上看到D大媽在Buffet內及泳池邊打麻雀, 更在早上8點在朱古力舖鄰近的小舞台開著自家帶上船的大型擴音机跳交際舞.
