I loved the fact that Goku and Frieza fought together in their Namek Saga forms, and not Golden Frieza/Super Saiyan Blue. Little detail but very crucial.

The moments with Toppo motivating Jiren was heartfelt and also Goku coming up to Jiren in the bleachers to tell how he was the reason goku could surpass his limits and that he wishes to see him again. Also, after the universes were revived, Toppo and Jiren swearing to not lose again was beautiful. This episode wasnt beautiful because Goku and freeza tag teamed up but because of U11's toppo and Jiren. They shone.
Also just goes to show, being the strongest warrior does not always mean you win the final battle. Team work goes a long way as seen in this final episode.
Man toppo sure does have a heart of gold to support jiren that much, the way he holded him after he got ringed out,the speech after they got resurected even after jiren spoke so low of him after his defeat to vegeta and the way he just used all of them for his own gains.

Actually, give how things ended, I wonder how they will use them in future arcs: will 17 being treated as one of the main characters after this showcase, or will he return to be a secondary character in the background? As for Frieza, I'm glad to see he is still the villain he's supposed to be (first thing he did after being resurrected was re-build his army), but I am not sure how will he interact with the Z Fighters ... maybe could his relationship with Goku & co. turning more into the Batman/Joker or Superman/Luthor territory, with Frieza being some sort of recurring nemesis for them?

In episode 47 Whis tells Goku and Vegeta that originally was 18 universes, but one day Zeno'h erased 6 of them. So, if 17"s wish brought back the 6 erased universes? A brief parting, "when an unknown new powerful enemy appears", that's referring to the movie no doubt because that's the next time a new powerful enemy appears. I'm sure they have every intention of bringing back the TV series though, but they may not have all the details set in stone yet. I'm guessing they may want to secure some of the animators schedules, like Yuya Takahashi who is a freelancer.

I am pretty sure at some point Friezza is going to manipulate Vegeta to turn him against Beerus. Especially as Beerus let Friezza do the dirty job for him regarding planet Vegeta. And we learnt in Dragon Ball Super Beerus didn't want Vegeta to know about this. Probably the reason why Beerus also wanted to make Friezza happy by resurrecting him. But I'm pretty sure this situation is going to give us a drama at some point when Dragon Ball returns. Maye a few episodes, maybe a whole arc, who knows... but this sort of dirty secret will have to be exposed sooner or later.
Freiza would make a great anti-hero sort of character. I wouldn't mind him being a good guy. I remember watching the Saiyan saga and never once imagining that Vegeta would be a good guy. And people seem to forget that vegeta and nappa destroyed whole planets. So he's not that much different than frieza when it comes to his evil past.

Yay... just as I predicted - my pretty boy 17 won :P I like that ending. Not perfect, but still very good. Also, as much as I find DBS nowhere as good as DBZ, the previous episode (130) was IMO the greatest episode visually and fight-wise in the entire series.

I'm so happy tey made 17 the MVP of this story arc. His character was so neglected in previous arcs.

I think when 17 hit Jiren with the blast, Jiren also went for ki attack and 17 put up forcefield, that was probably why Jiren got messed up.
