High quality video! I really like the effect that u can achieve by using the sand in combination with rocks or another dark texture under water. I love how it makes the illusion that the water is slowly transitioning from the beach into a deep water. It’s lit.
@@JurassicTom haha 😂 I only gave a non next gen console (Xbox one ) so can’t do much 🤣 but I’m getting Xbox series X in a few days , first thing im gonna do it load up JWE2 😂
Tommy I have some criticism to make about how you saying to only put plants in the water for the swamp, we can put put some plants in the water for lakes and rivers to act as reeds and cattails but the catch is you should put them right near the edge otherwise it looks unnatural like you said. Otherwise Love the Content and Video keep doing what your doing and Keep building your style of building because it makes the parks look great like I have said in the past.
i usually make Enclosures based on the real life dinosaurs habitat like for example i look up what habitat dryosaurus lived in or what habitat trex lived in and i replicate the enclosure after that enviornment
Thanks for those very useful tips ;) I've one question, when you surround the enclosure with rocks, how the jeeps can access to the dinos (to take care of them) ?
They can't, so this only works with the animals having their needs turned off and infinite feeders turned on 😄 you basically don't need the jeeps this way 🙂
Not sure if it's of any use still, but you can use the Jurassic Park gate or the wall piece with the hole in it for this. The jeeps can go through and bigger dinos can't
I have to see if you cover good path construction tips. I try to make wide, winding paths, but it's so hard to shape them right because they always want to snap together at the ends. Only thing I can thing of is start with a basic winding path, put a fence along one edge to break it apart and do a parallel winding path on the other side. Then remove the fence and fill in the space between.
If you're doing wide winding paths, try to stick out paths of the same length out of it in a 90 degree angle and then join them at the end, it copies the curve perfectly 🙂
@@JurassicTom Oh, that makes perfect sense. I was trying too hard to get two paths running parallel with a bit of space between them. Thank you! Very simple solution.
What map do you recommend playing sandbox on if we want to make a nice park layout and if we want to add every single in game species to your park such as all dinosaurs pterosaurs and marine reptiles its because I've always wanted to make an all species park but the thing is idk what to build in jwe 2 as soon as I build my arrival point for the guest ive always been bad at park building tbh and my parks looked bad tbh and I'd like to make a nice park with an organized layout where I can have every single species (sorry for the long comment)
The best maps, if you don't want to use the new square ones, which would be perfect for an all species park, are California, Nublar 2015, and Arizona. When it comes to starting a park or a guest section, make sure to check my video with 5 tips on how to start a park 😊
@@JurassicTom Oh ok, because when I am in sandbox, I mostly just like to make enclosures as if they were natural preserves or trying to simulate them living in the wild. I usually do one giant herbivore, 3 or 2 medium herbivores, and 1 or 2 small herbivores, and if I feel like it I'll add some carnivores usually 1 or 2 medium carnivores and 1 small carnivore.
After I watched this video, my parks went from concrete fences, a pond, a bunch of trees, and a huge enclosure to... Just something amazing! Thank you so much
I think the different things about climate appropriate vegetation and rocks is a really interesting tip. Certainly one I’ve never heard of before.
Thanks 😉

Thanks a lot! I do love to play with the textures and create new combinations, makes it all more interesting 😁
Every single shot in this video could be a wallpaper , your Parks ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Wish I could build as good as you

This channel has helped me in regards to the decorations on enclosures, you can see the before and after effects.
Glad to hear it, buddy 🙂
same
Thanks man love how u are explaining stuff !
Keep up the good work Tom!
thank u for the tips.
I didn't know where to put the small dinosaurs
You're welcome, glad you like the video 😊

Oopsie 🤭
I actually have used the river tip a few times. If you want, you can even use lagoons to make a river.
That's an interesting take on it! 😁

I dont get how you make such big mountains does it just work on pc or do i need a dlc?
I should have listened 2 seconds more xD
i like the idea with rocks and no fences :) gotta try that out!

What about invisible fences surround by decorations
Well, if you have decorations tightly next to each other, you don't need the fence 😉
Sounds.....zesty but at the same time straight...?
What kind of enclosure do you recommend for alberto Tommy?😉
None 🤣 Alberta is an abomination 😆
But in all seriousness, something alpine, if you need to use that rubber toy 😆
You did not disappointed me again!! 🤣🤣🤣
But what if you want an enclosure with multiple species?
I fully encourage multiple species, I just think it looks more aesthetic when they're approximately the same size 🙂
