    I've been trying to find a video of a Civic tuned like this! I have the EX and all i see are hatch back mods, none for like ours. this actaully helps me because now i know what i can work with on mines. I want to hear my turbo too lol! Great vid you got my like, civic fam all day.

      I run the spacer with a short ram intake for 2 years now as a daily driver. No issues at all. I am also catless. I monitor AFRs on the KTuner screen. No problems. You will be fine.

    when you were doing your custom exhaust was there a sort of metal wall where the mufflers were at? im trying to get a custom exhaust like yours but i think i have to trim the metal in the way. did you have that problem as well?

    I have a few questions about the muffler delete. Roughly how much did it cost for a shop to do it? Also how noticeable was the new sound, I’m wanting something that will make a little more noise than stock but not sound like a rocket ship in the neighborhood. Love the build gonna try to get my ex-t sedan close to this.

      Muffler delete is your best bet. It’s not too loud, it’s about twice as loud as stock, but stock is very quiet. You can also choose your tips. I paid $250 for muffler delete with quad exhaust tips.

      Try going to a muffler shop. They have lots of mufflers or just straight pipe that they can put on for you.

    I have a 2018 touring and idk if I could cut holes out in my hood lmao. It looks awesome but ugh drilling holes and cutting large pieces of hood makes me cringe. Awesome mods though. If anything I may just do an exhaust mod. I love the stock wheels so will probably leave them alone.

      Yea it’s not an easy mod to do since it involves a lot of measuring and triple checking.
      I agree that an exhaust mod and keeping the stock wheels would look great in your case.

      @@Sals_Garage I mean I guess worse case scenario is I order a new hood to keep on hand and if I screw it up I can just swap the hood lol. What year is yours? I haven't really looked at mine but I'm assuming the hood is metal? Or is it fiberglass?

      The hood is metal. Shouldn’t be too expensive to replace if needed. Try and cut smaller than you need then you can open it up vs going too big at first. It is easier to remove the whole hood first then you can put it against a wall and make an easier safer cut.

    Hey Sal, I want the same rear diffuser for my 2020 Touring. I clicked on the link and it says they're sold out. Do you know where I can find another seller? If not, any diffusers you recommend that looks like yours? I don't want those exhaust mods sticking down the bottom of the car and the exhaust coming out of the diffuser looks super cool. Also for the wing, any shaking while you're on the highway? I saw the reviews on Amazon and they're saying it shakes and bends at high speed. Still considering about the wing but I want to get a muffler delete soon that's why I'm trying to find a rear diffuser. Thanks.

    Bro, all your cars are tastefully done!! Since u own both the m3 and the 335i which one was faster with all the mods u added? Which one would u prefer as a daily?? I own a 335i and on the fence on selling it and getting a v8 e92 or going pure stage 2 on the 335i. tobad your not local I would definitely pay you to work on my car lol.

      Thanks bro! I believe the M3 feels faster compared to the 335i with FBO mods. Once you go PS2 turbo, the 335i will pull ahead. I love both cars, but I enjoy the driving experience of a screaming V8 on the M3. Pure stage 2 is a beast though, and you won’t be disappointed going either route. Good luck! I wish we were close. I love working on cars as a hobby, I would do it for free lol.

      Thx, stock suspension still just taller tires with 18” wheels. Can’t remember the tire size but they are tall so it fills the wheel gap well.

    I've been wanting to do some of these mods w/ my first car 2019 lx trim, but I'm afraid that I might trade it in one day and end up wasting hundreds of dollars for nothing, or loose resale value. I'm also scared of the fact that my car is going to get drilled on, and pay god knows how much just to have someone to install some of these mods for me, money is tight right now.

    Hi, I have a 2016 civic touring. I love what you did with the car. I’m trying to enhance the performance and the nice sound you had there when it’s driven. What items exactly do I need to do this? Is it just the K&N cold air intake kit? Or do I also need the Ktuner ? I’m new to this, don’t know much about cars but would love to drive a car that sounds nice and has a better acceleration. Please let me know! And after I buy the items it just gets taken to a mechanic right?

      The k and n intake is a good start. I tuner is a great mod for power as well. For exhaust try a muffler delete. You will be very happy with those 3 things first. Good luck 👍

      It actually does not drip on any sensitive electronics, just straight down to the bottom engine cover. Well worth it for the increased turbo noises and decreased temps.

    I want to buy a civic hatch but its gonna be a daily driver and I wasn't sure about buying the CVT but I couldn't buy the manual since I was going to be commuting in this but this, and many other videos assured me that maybe a cvt would be okay.

      No problems so far, 3 years with car parked outside all the time in heavy rain. They do too good of a job with cooling the engine and allowing more turbo noise through.

    Hey sal maybe you could help me out here. I want to get a rear diffuser for my touring. I understand ill have to get a muffler delete. What else specifically do i have to get done for it? Please let me know

      You’ll need two exhaust tips as well: amzn.to/39m8oUu
      The muffler delete and the rear diffuser of your choice. Go to a muffler shop to have them weld it together. Good luck!

      @@Sals_Garage sounds good. So once i get a muffler delete, what do they have to weld? Also will any dual exhaust tips be fine for the diffuser. Just to be clear again, i only need to buy a rear diffuser and 2 dual exhaust tips for the diffuser install. I will also have to get a muffler delete and ask them to weld it back. Is that all?

      As for the rear diffuser try to get the exhaust tips that fit. If you have a quad diffuser get the quad tips. If you have dual exhaust diffuser get two single tips. For muffler delete they will cut off muffler and weld in straight pipes.

    Fascinating. How much were the Performance parts costs? The car is very nice. My audio (old phone) was ragged. Did you say you deleted the catalytic converter?

      Thank you for the comment! I did not spend a lot on this budget build. The most expensive performance part was the k tuner v1.2 at $500 used. I also did delete the catalytic converter with a Megan racing pipe ($120). The intake was $100. Lastly the muffler delete and quad tips was about $200.

      Thanks! Yea the rear sway bar upgrade made the most difference in reducing body roll. The front and rear strut bars made a small noticeable difference in rigidity. Steering feels much tighter too.

      @@Sals_Garage exactly what I noticed. That trunk bar seemed least likely to do much. Might pass on that one. As a former Lotus owner, it's all about handling and "interactive feel between human and machine". Many can emulate Lotus, but none can match Lotus.

    How did you know where to line up the drill holes on your trunk for the spoiler? I’m worried I’ll put it on crooked or not entirely straight lol. Also what drill bit did you use?

    Hey I don’t know if you still read comments but I have a few questions. Have you experienced any issues with your transmission with having the KTuner on 23psi? I had mine on 21psi for about 35K miles and my transmission failed. I didn’t have a downpipe but I did have a fat prl air intake. It would mean a lot to hear back thanks!

      Hi! So far no CVT issues yet, but I do change the fluid every 30k miles with OEM fluid. We are at 72k miles now. 👍

      Yes I can see about 90% clearly. It doesn’t affect daily driving, but you will see it when looking back.

      The water flows down to the bottom of the engine tray and drains out through the oil change hole. No issues for the last 3 years. Significant increase in cooling and turbo noise n
