I had a crash in the (lawless) Philippines due to a high speed vehicle losing control in a corner. Had my left arm rebuilt with titanium. The gear I was wearing saved my life but especially my left foot. My race boot was broken in two but my foot only suffered some broken metatarsals. I wish you a speedy recovery. You will be back on a bike soon. Also extend my best wishes for your friend.
David Johnson I'm dreaming about a time when people will have the right to get driving licence for cars only AFTER two years of motorcycle experience. Perhaps after that they will always remember how dangerous are cars for 2-wheelers on the shared road
