For some reason right now im feeling like i need to explore. I know uranus is transiting my 9th house and i just felt compelled to dig deeper into this energy to see if these feelings im having are linked to this.
For me actual travel to different countries isnt sometbing my mind is overly geared toward right now but i feel this need to try so many different activities. I want to try drumming classes, alternative sports like ice hockey, ninja warrior, ballroom dancing...i just want to know what these things feel like. i want to mix with people that can teach me new skills or enhance my current skills. I feel like my mind is already very active and ive explored alot mentally but i really want to explore almost physical activities and see what i can learn, find out or enhance. I know sag is fire so activity makes sense but yeah its like i want new sensory experiences, through my physcial body and my eyes.
Im in the early phases of the transit and i feel like that could be an effect and am curious to know if you feel that this could be a link?#
Ihear you and thie 9th is so much more than travel to other countries.It is an expansion and direct expereince. The activities you are enjoying right now, remind me very much of the 1st ,3rd and 5th houses (1st, doing osmething with your body. 3rd - many diffierent activities that are social, 5th having hobbies and passions). I wonder which planets rule these houses in your chartsand whether they are somehow inovlved in your 9th house experience or uranus transiting through there. Its a long transit, so expect some change and more excitement. Glad you have a full and exciting life xx
Uranus is currently conjuncting my natal sun at 21 degrees Taurus. Ninth house. My natal Saturn right there beside my sun at 24 degrees. Not sure how this is going to affect me
I would imagine that you'll be rocking the boat somewhat with this going on. Uranus takes a long time to completely pass a point. So you will have laready been feeling the urge to flex and change and evolve, and even after it has moved over your Sun and Saturn, it will likely retrograde over it and then go direct again. This could have a really enlivening effect on your life, and if I were in your shoes I would plan to soak up some of this energy doing something you love doing (for instance, studying something Uranian - ie astrology, hypnotherapy, computer languages, languages, travel) or maybe go travelling, join a group of likeminded philosophical thinkers.....it's time for your mind and spirit to expand. And to create space for you to grow. Your saturn/Sun conj will likely fight it, but always better to challenge yourself a little rather than let life challenge you! Good luck. x

I have a query!
Year's ago when I was first trying to study astrology, I heard a few astrologers say that with Uranus in the 9th house you are advised against travelling, planes, foreign countries can become dangerous places, and potential for serious accidents and I think they also said bad experiences are likely too.
Has anyone else ever come across this?
I assume now it could be more related to transits to the natal Uranus? But I wouldn't know how to predict best travel times, and also going abroad the holiday location can shift your natal houses and make it more complicated!
Natally using whole sign, my Uranus (Libra) is in my 10th house, equal house it's in my 9th house, and in placidus it's in my 8th house.
Virgo rules my Placidus 8th house with my Sun, Venus, and Pluto there and Uranus is then in the 8th house too but obviously in Libra.
Uranus 11° is conjunct my black moon Lilith and part of fortune is on the cusp of Libra 0°, so I was wondering if BML could be a kind of agitator to my Uranus too, abroad I might not feel safe perhaps as a woman.
It's just that I've always wanted to go abroad, but haven't dared to because of Uranus in the 9th.
Plus I now have health issues that might not agree with being on a plane.
But if I have it wrong regarding Uranus 9th house and travel issues, I'd love get out of my country (UK) to explore.
Bless you for such a great enquiry. I love this question and it reminds me very much about the responsibility of astrology and astrologers. I can see where someone might have written that in the past, but I think when we take it on as our reality as a certainty, it can create all sorts of inconveniences. I remember only too well reading about how AWFUL my moon in Pisces was or how I'd never amount to much because of my moon square neptune / mars / nodes, or how as a sagittarius I would probably marry 2 or more times. I think these finite sentiments can be damaging.
I really see that the House system, the Western/tropical system v sidereal system, the signs etc.......can really change our perception. At best these points are like how you set your clock. Like you I am in the GMT time Zone, but I have clients who are in Texas and a client in Hawaii and a client who is in NZ. And whose time is actually right? Similarly your Uranus could be judged as being in 8th, 9th or 10th,.....
But what can we ascertain about your uranus and your ability to travel? The only thing we can truly go with is the aspects uranus makes to other planets, and also asteroids/points as useful.
So my question to you is what is in aspect with your Uranus? Look at planets first, and asteroids later. BML is an agitator, but it's only there if you focus on it, and there are a great many soothing asteroids/points out there that may be supporting your Uranus.
Last thing that comes to mind is you're right, in terms of travel safety. Transits are everything. I think I'm going to record a short video about your query, because yo'ure not the only one who worries about their placements and the bad that could occur. Thank you for your question/thoughts/experience.
