Even if Slot you doesn't like Endo, should at least send him on to balance and stabilize the midfield when McAlister was substituted, and take a good look at last year's game tapes and see what a great and efficient midfield combination Endo + Mac are. Every substitution yesterday ruined the team, incl moving Trent to the midfield, replacing Diaz, and not using Endo anyway.

I can't understand why Slot doesn't change Salah
because salah is crafty and can create critical chances at any time, even at his worst. but the diaz sub was a bad move, he was the only player trying up front.

Actually I listened to a commentary of the game through a 'watchalong' and the impression I got was that Liverpool played v badly. However, I didn't see that when watching these highlights. I thought they looked a touch jaded, but held out against a well-organised Forest team. Additionally, I don't know whether anyone else noticed, but Alisson thought that shot was going wide and left it. I mean, he rarely makes mistakes so you can forgive him, but I don't think it was down to Hudson's shot - it was Alissons misjudgment in my op. Anyway, no need to panic. All teams have bad days and, although we lost, it wasn't a catastrophe. Diaz and Jota could easily have scored.

As a Forest supporter since early 70s it’s about time we had a win at Anfield; but no matter what anyone says about Liverpools performance, this was a masterclass of tactics by Nuno; we restricted Liverpool to one chance which was the mistake by Yates; and then there was the fumble by Matt Sells but other than that there weren’t any BIG chances. Then we changed it up with pace on the wings which bought us the goal; it may have stayed 0-0 had Slott not moved Trent AA into midfield, but all in all great tactics from Nuno; we have built a bigger squad now with cover everywhere and the ability to make changes and have different plans for all opponents; ok we won’t win the league but we really are a squad that only needs a couple more players and we will be challenging for Europe - if we had got a striker with pace and the ability to hold the ball we’d get more possession - so here’s a msg to the BIG 6, don’t think you have a god given right to beat the SMALLER clubs as one or two have ambition.
