@@mrwin3511That’s a crazy opinion, Endo almost singlehandedly controlled the tempo of the final for the one piece of silverware that we got last season. Let’s not forget that we were competing on most fronts for our comps and fatigued when it really mattered towards the end of the season. The disrespect for an Endo-esque player is the same we always had for Hendo. Engine-type players are important for long seasons, and Endo - should he play this season how he ended the last - will be key
@@milotrix44 no, this season is not like last.. It requires more skill on the ball.. And gravenberch is just miles better. Endo had multiple times that when the pass to him under pressure he has errors. Last season macallister ran our midfield, not endo at all..
Even if Slot you doesn't like Endo, should at least send him on to balance and stabilize the midfield when McAlister was substituted, and take a good look at last year's game tapes and see what a great and efficient midfield combination Endo + Mac are. Every substitution yesterday ruined the team, incl moving Trent to the midfield, replacing Diaz, and not using Endo anyway.
Nothing was ruined by a sub.. It was already really bad. And not by tactics but by individuals, never seen so many bad passes in a game

Endo literally bossed the midfield against arsenal and city last season but somehow is not getting the game time under slot. What the hell is going on?
a Forest supporter since early 70s it’s about time we had a win at Anfield; but no matter what anyone says about Liverpools performance, this was a masterclass of tactics by Nuno; we restricted Liverpool to one chance which was the mistake by Yates; and then there was the fumble by Matt Sells but other than that there weren’t any BIG chances. Then we changed it up with pace on the wings which bought us the goal; it may have stayed 0-0 had Slott not moved Trent AA into midfield, but all in all great tactics from Nuno; we have built a bigger squad now with cover everywhere and the ability to make changes and have different plans for all opponents; ok we won’t win the league but we really are a squad that only needs a couple more players and we will be challenging for Europe - if we had got a striker with pace and the ability to hold the ball we’d get more possession - so here’s a msg to the BIG 6, don’t think you have a god given right to beat the SMALLER clubs as one or two have ambition.

Actually I listened to a commentary of the game through a 'watchalong' and the impression I got was that Liverpool played v badly. However, I didn't see that when watching these highlights. I thought they looked a touch jaded, but held out against a well-organised Forest team. Additionally, I don't know whether anyone else noticed, but Alisson thought that shot was going wide and left it. I mean, he rarely makes mistakes so you can forgive him, but I don't think it was down to Hudson's shot - it was Alissons misjudgment in my op. Anyway, no need to panic. All teams have bad days and, although we lost, it wasn't a catastrophe. Diaz and Jota could easily have scored.

I am a critic of players generally, but honestly I don’t think it’s the fault of Nunez or Gakpo this time.
The passes from Szoboslai were truly horrible. Salah couldn’t connect a single pass today. Even Gravenberg felt tired.
Regardless, we all have bad days. The issue to me is not reading the game well and substituting the different players. Arne Slot is not a top manager.
