You could look into the 2016 BMW R1200RS, they sell for pretty cheap with low miles. It will have a lot more low end torque (70nm at 2K RPM, the Kawi is 60 at 3K, Suzuki like 55 at 3K), shaft drive so no chain maintenance. Just make sure you get one with cruise control.

@darekm6859 Yeah, i wasn't expecting it, but the Kwi really impressed me. Buttery smooth and the tour package comes with quite a bit.....
