He also provides the voice of Roo on My Friends Tigger & Pooh (taking over the role from Jimmy Bennett), and played "World", the imaginary friend inside a toybox in the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends movie "Destination: Imagination".[3] For Burkholder's role as Max Braverman on Parenthood, executive producer Jason Katims said, consultant Wayne Tashjian, a behavioral psychologist, looks at the script and meets with Burkholder and his mother about those scenes involving the Max character. Burkholder and his mother then practice the scenes by themselves. For special scenes, the show employs a second consultant to ensure accuracy.[4]
