1 dead, 3 injured after shooting and stabbing incident in vehicle on I-5 in Federal Way

One person died and three others were injured after a shooting and stabbing event on Interstate 5 in Federal Way.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident happened in the northbound lanes of I-5, south of the Washington State Department of Transportation weigh station, just after 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

I just drove by this on the freeway as it was happening, and I was so confused as all these people and police were scattering everywhere. South Seattle has always been dangerous, but this is crazy. I’m still super confused as to what even transpired exactly.
They had shotguns and A.R. 15s and had several people at gunpoint and there were cars all over the place. I was really confused.

Interstate 5 sucks. I try to use Interstate 5 only at US 12 when going to Los Angeles. I avoid much of Interstate 5 if possible. Interstate 405, Route 167, Route 161, Route 7, and US 12 to bypass Interstate 5.
