Grande Maestro! I would wish to have a lesson with him - which I cannot. There are at least RUclips videos to follow, and it has already helped me a lot. Hello, thank you for your videos. I am student of conservatory and I must tell, that I really struggle with the breath. Could you please tell me some tips, that helped you improve your breathing? When I saw your videos working with the big stars of the opera, you have to have a lot of experiences. I am taught to take a breath into low belly, some could say into low back. But I cant still develope that "tampoline", that is needed for the bel canto singing. Do you know, what will help me to do that? Thank you very much. Wish you all the best from the Czech republic!
How you breathe as you speak? :) This is also the case during singing. Do not use air with diaphragm, with the diaphragm not to press anything. Use the air that is in the mouth. Breathing should not take away your freedom in the body. What a belcanto if there is a big constraint? Singing does not require special inspiration, use weather that already exists. "I am taught to take a breath into low belly, some could say into low back." - just stick there - block and expand the diaphragm to the sides. Abdomen neither forward nor inward, only to the side but don’t think about it but know. Exercise: without breathing and being relaxed pop air out of the cheeks slowly and relax and how much air will return so much and pop again, so use the air when singing with locked aperture. @Madara Uchiha Correctly, you're going to squeeze your belly and your throat's going to get worse. point between the eyes and the sound at the lips and a point at the bottom of the abdomen and it’s easy to coordinate. Maestro G. Cecchele says: if you think where to press your belly, push - when will I sing? if the sound is good then everything works. @Madara Uchiha yeah I agree, I mean I follow the leaning on the breath type of technique. But then, in his case, I think the breathing is ok. What is not ok is the top register and that's why thinking that maybe he needs to practice some descending scales? And definitely to connect more to his falsetto, rather then pure baritone chest or mixed head and chest. Something like Loforese explains, to simply be in a reinforced falsetto every time when singing. I found that, if I sort of use my falsetto (hard to describe) and sing the high notes in falsetto and then, as I hold a Bb4 let's say in falsetto, I'd increase it to a full voice tone - that's what brought the ease to my voice overall. He could try falsetto attachment more?

All’epoca quando ero giovane a uno contralto avevo cambiato la tecnica così dopo gli studi questa ragazzina cantò Gilda e Lucia a Londra con grandissimo successo . Da un basso giovane avevo programmato la voce d’un tenore chi all’epoca cantò quasi tutto il repertorio del tenore! Uno mezzo diventò uno soprano drammatico una delle voci più belle del mondo etc.etc.etc. Come vedi la preparazione del allievo dipende dal maestro ! All’inizio Tutto dipenda dal maestro chi spiga al suo allievo cosa fare e il giovane impara . Se uno studente non sa cantare dopo un’anno di studi ci sono due possibilità: 1 Il maestro non sa cosa fare e sta improvvisando così l’insegnamento diventa business 2 l’allievo non ha talento per il canto Il Maestro all’inizio deve spiegare al suo studente cosa è il canto lirico Con ogni giovane voce il Maestro deve lavorare in modo diverso !!!! Ogni giovane voce è unica. Una tecnica miracolosa per una voce può essere fatale per un’altra. Sei troppo forte 💪 tu e troppo gentile! Ah, avevo dimenticato a dirti : - Il punto di riferimento è il microfono 🎙 naturale della voce e si trova sotto il naso 👃! Quando canti devi ‘sparare’ nei due denti 🦷 centrali superiori!/Non devi cantare mai con la tua bella voce nelle cavità nasali o non so dove affondando il suono!!!!Questa tecnica è puro suicidio!/ È molto semplice, devi sparare nel punto di riferimento e basta. I’d say the abdominal muscles should help the voice more maybe? Try flexing those muscles while singing high notes, it might help
