Welcome to the Vegas Tesla Family, a Model Y!
The order and delivery process with Tesla is as simple as it gets. I show a bit on the app of how I ordered it, and from there you just schedule your delivery date.
When it’s time for delivery, all you’re basically doing is going to the delivery center to sign some paperwork. We didn’t show much of that, honestly because there’s not much to show. Simple!
Plenty of people will recommend a super in-depth vehicle inspection upon pick-up - we just did a little bit, I don’t think there is a need to look at every finite detail of the car.
So, welcome to our video, and here it a bit of what delivery day looks like when you pick up your Tesla!
This will definitely be our family car! And it won’t be grey for too long! Hint hint.

honestly picking up your 1st tesla is such an overwhelming feeling! but congrats you are going to love the Y. The white seats are soooooo clean love how they look. Truly living up to the name Vegas Tesla Family!

Don’t bother these vehicles are shit wasn’t impressed at all when I rented one. Focus on getting yourself well and getting on that transplant list that’s more important right now.

@@tails300 I had the opposite experience. I didn’t understand the Tesla craze until my family and I rented one for a a road trip to Vegas, strangely enough. I loved the acceleration, efficiency and comfort. Still not sure if I can handle owning one, but from this point on, the only car I want to rent is a Tesla

In Nevada you have 30 days to insure a new vehicle, that’s the law. Tesla can request proof of insurance (on your current vehicle) but can’t force you to get insurance on the Tesla before you purchase it or on the day you purchase it.
Interesting! The app requires you to put in insurance info before you can proceed to delivery. Or, at least I believe it’s a requirement. Could be wrong!

Your wife didn't want to wait for the refresh model Y ( Juniper) I heard it might be announced in first half of this year. As long as she is happy that is all that matters 😊
Have you had any major issues with your Tesla model 3? Everyone I've spoken to love their Teslas and wouldn't buy anything else even with small issues. I'm a Tesla fan boy and I don't even have the car yet 🤣

I was in your shoes before my 3! I wouldn’t buy any other car. I haven’t had any major issues… and I should’ve rotated my tires much more than I have. But no issues there. 40k miles in, I just changed the air filters and windshield washer fluid. That’s it.
@@cellman1829 and I’d definitely be as patient as I can for the model 3 refresh. It has so many cool features mine doesn’t have (especially the ventilated seats) and it looks like it’s coming soon to the US

@Vegas - What is calculated depreciation value of the car per year? Do you think you have paid "Premium" compared buying e.g. Audi Q5 or similar? If no, curios for the details.
So hard to calculate depreciation. Definitely better than other SUV's in this price point IMO.

@@lavidaalocaaa mobile connector if you ask me! Most people can get by with a standard outlet (like myself, and I do home health for a living) but range anxiety makes people want a faster garage charger. Can always upgrade the garage outlet later on if you need to too.

Congratulations 👍🏾 White is the best interior hands down. The panel gap is common on model Y’s because there trunk motors are on the left rear trunk panels. New ones have 2 motors now on each end. Drive safe ⚡️😎

Congrats! 🍾 I rented a model Y LR before and it was blue black interior. While it is nice, I could barely see out the rear view mirror. Is there a procedure to use on the big screen when changing lanes? Definitely might consider buying or leasing one for myself one day. I hate maintaining cars but I will keep a gas car for backup, can’t trust EV forever since they can have problems never know. Also, I ran into problem finding a supercharger or had to wait in line something not used to lol… it’s good you guys have a house that’s much more practical to charge vs I would have to find a charging station supercharger or not
The screen while changing lanes came with a software update about a year or so ago! Super helpful. The supercharger network has grown like crazy - no more waits, except for a few places in California.
I might just have to plan out my paths when it comes time to charge then 😉 lol
