PR Canada is amazing! So much more focused on the development of fashion projects... I love how positive the workroom critique unfolds the way we can look at the individual designers. It really feels more like a design show than a syndicated fashionista ego spectacle (with the exclusion of some overused breakdowns). Sunny is the best out of them, clearly. And how come a designer is so stupid to keep saying he doesn't know YSL. Omg, there's his stuff everywhere, even perfumes with that signature. I can't get it how ANYONE doesn't know YSL, specially a designer that's competing in Project Runway!
I actually liked that black and white collection, and I liked Brandon's outfit. Actually I liked them most of them, but my LEAST favorites were the short purple dress, the plum dress the ruffly skirt, and the short red dress. They were very 80s and looked cheap. I loved the black and red "granny dress". It was classy and had a lovely black lining. I have no idea why they gave him such a hard time over it.
Last year's Project Runway Canada had an execution of style per designer. We have seen great aptitude and skill generated as each show progressed. You can't see the designers being pushed or challenged to see something fresh or refreshing. The show doesn't spend enough time showing the thought process per designer. Someone sterilised this for the viewers. The designer truly competes with their own self as much as they compete against others.
Does anyone know when Danio died? Was it during the taping of this series? I thought he was a real nice person and i really looked forward to seeing his designs.. I was hoping they would give him another chance later in the show, or in the next season when he was feeling better.. so sad

Pretty sure they should dedicate the next episode to Adejoke's model because she looks like she's emaciated to the nth degree. The judges even had the gall to compliment the model, as if starving yourself is laudatory behavior.
I think Brian is a fantastic mentor. Like I can't say he's better than Tim Gunn or even compare him to Tim Gunn. Both were great at what they do/did, but there's no comparison because they're both so different in how they deal and interact with the designers. I noticed that Brian is very empathic and that's a great way to be with people who are under constant stress.

i love IMAN.. she always tell ppl if they are wrong or not.. PERIOD.. like she always has the last say and she tells it very blunt.. my favorite line: IMAN: i dont mind this outfit if it had a yves st laurent stamp on it Bitchy Girl: i thought that it does IMAN: It doesn't. iman doesnt even have to yell or anything. she just says it blunt and honest
Divorcing the outfits from the designers they're supopsed to represent, I actually at least like, if not LOVE every single outfit! that's a first for me ni pr history :3 especially with so many designers.
Iman or Heidi Klum? Iman, because she has more class and she's hotter. Shawn Hewson or Michael Kors? Shawn, because all his comments are on point, and he's hotter. Rita Sylvan or Nina Garcia? Rita, because she's eloquence+elegance personified, and not a wannabe.
kim made it seem like she knew the most about YSL while brandon knew nothing, yet he gets chopped off ? i actually thought his was better than kim's at the very least!
You should check out his website. He is actually pretty good, just.. not here. The time restraints seem to be a big issue with a lot of them, except a master like Sunny.
I totally like the team who did the YSL stuff, both Brandon's and Kims' looked radical and the judges should maybe have thought about giving those bios before the sketches were done, before team leaders were assigned.
i agree, brandon was ignorant and proud of it. iman says she'd lie but how would that help your team in any way, pretending you knew about it. kim should've been out for such poor direction as the leader. however i felt greater disgust with the valentino team since their tailoring was god awful.
How could he NOT know about YSL ? and he thinks he will make it in NYC ? ha ..can you say ' hey waiter ? ' lol..this just shows how lazy he is... sad to see about Danio
The judges don't know or see anything of what goes into the designs. All they see or know is what comes out on the runway. If he had lied, they wouldn't have known until the show aired. It's a part of them being impartial judges. If they saw what went into making the garment, they might be involuntarily biased or feel sorry for a particular designer.
Though I don't like him on a personal level, I do not feel he should have been chastised for not knowing ysl. No knowing simply says he is a designer without training ... something all who claim the title wish to be. Meaning, those who go to school to learn are trying to get the status truly talented people already have/are. Again, I don't like him nor do I think he has any real talent ------ so, insult away all you want on him! HA!!

I actually think Iman was just saying her name, Adejoké. Her name isn't jackie it's Adejoké. It's just the way Iman pronounced it.
