Korn's gift/curse of not sleeping is affecting him psychologically - sleep is how our brains recharge and is important for our mental health after all. But Korn's girlfriend seems to be taking advantage of his vulnerable state of mind. It definitely appears that she's using a common abusive tactic of isolating Korn from his friends, making him more and more dependent on her and more likely to give her the information that she wants. 😢
His potential is actually regeration/healing or something like that. Sleep is kind of like a body healer in a sense but bc his potential alr does that he doesnt need to sleep/his body doesnt need it. This is also why when he takes the 3 pills in ep 2 he doesnt get knocked out...in a way he's kinda immune. It's a bit more explained in The Gifted Graduation/Season 2. (i've watched this show like 3 times btw)

Someone needs to calm down Korn and talk with him nicely, trying to understand why he’s being like this with his potential instead of shout to him only saying that it’s great. The only thing I disliked was the “Go back to fighting with yourself” part. He can be all the mad and sad he wants, but that’s just... no. He could’ve only said “It’s none of your d*mn business”.
