You still gave us a great idea how these new cards work! Really appreciate your time and your daughter is a really bright person! She plays really well!
I picked up mind bug at Gen Con. It came on a box similar to what hero realms came in. Hoping I can pick these two expansions up in the wild at some point!
Hi! Me again. So, I sorted thru my whole new collection this morning and swapped the 16 duplicate cards out of the base deck and added 20 cards from the expansions. I did this so If I had 4 players, there would be 10 cards each and an extra dozen for a little variety. I then went thru the rulebook to find the answer to our Question about the toughness/poison thing. The page Starting with Tough, Note: If a poisonous creature has more power than a tough creature it fights, the tough creature is exhausted, but is not defeated. So just one hit per attack. Hope that helps! Hope to see you both play again soon!
I think your tough creatures just get tapped and not totally defeated. Even though they were poisoned and defeated, it’s counted as 1 hit per turn. I think that was explained in a video, but It’s been a while.
Yeah, I’m still not clear about that. The tough creature was lower power and takes a hit, and gets poisoned which takes another hit. That’s how her rationalized it which makes sense to me.
As your daughter has been attacking, you reminded her on the first time to gain a life, but then forget from there on. Also, her creatures should have been getting +1 power
Thanks for your feedback, i think we remembered later or there weren’t any close battles. Despite any errors, I hope you had fun watching as we certainly had fun playing!

:D (This is my daughters typed response)
I like how honest your daughter is. My nephew invents new rules as we play games -- strangely, always in his favour..!
She’s very good with the rules. If there’s any wrong gameplay, it’s because I taught her incorrectly. To her, house rules equal cheating! LOL
You do continue on an off, but in the end, it didn’t matter. These new cards are cool! I’m excited to watch round 2!

3:00 see if your Promo card will fit in a card sleeve. If so, then future Eric promo can be played with any of the cards. Problem solved :)
Great idea, but I’ll probably never sleeve my cards, even for 4 decades year games.

I’ll have to tell my daughter that. Thanks for watching!
You did remember the life gain when your level 1 sneaky cat creature got killed and there after
