This scene always bothered me a bit. I understand why Sharon would be upset, but her abandoning Derek when he needed her most was low. At least let him explain from the beginning so you know everything.

I just don’t get why Derek didn’t come clean when he planned to. The thing with Sharon’s sister was bad timing, but he himself never cheated so he’s not hurting Sharon.
Her finding out on her own definitely makes it look like he did do something.
