I had Philippines as my Number One. I had N'Hen Nie of Vietnam as Top Five. But as the actual show progressed on Finals night, I started wanting Vietnam as Top Two. And though I was quite glad Catriona Gray won, I was sad Vietnam didn't make it to the Top Three.

Canada received a great reception during the evening gown competition...Michael Cinco, a known designer who happens to be a Filipino, designed her gown. Catriona Gray, Miss Universe 2018 is Filipino...needless to say, Filipino brings fresh concept to the world, surprises the universe!
I always go back to this review regarding the continental breakdowns. I still prefer the normal format for the Top20 having girls that should be there whatever continent they come from. Women who worked hard and trained hard, the ones who have the capacity to slay and should be on that stage.. rather than those "Okay" women who were just chosen because of continental cuts. All-women judges is a different issue.
