I started watching this and for whatever reason this is so much better than looking at a piece of paper. It's a lot easier for me to understand when someone else reads the question and I love shouting the answers at the screen before you reveal it!! My mom is a little annoyed but she doesn't care because im studying 🤣

@@ITeachYouScience No problem! Quick question: For question 58, to find the rate of change, we essentially use the formula (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1). Simply by looking at the table, the volume is decreasing, so shouldn't the final answer be -16.6? If not, why is it that we use positive numbers for values that are decreasing?
Rate of change is how much something changed by. So if the starting temp is 10 and the ending temp is 20, the temp change was 10 degrees . If it started at 20 and ended at 10, the temp still changed by 10 degrees. It’s just how we interpret it in science. Keep it positive for this . Good question!
I wanted to watch this because, of course, the test is tomorrow. So i decided to do the stuff with you as a way to gain info and to have a study guide for tomorrow morning. Please keep doing this stuff for the earth science regents cause it's a nice way to learn how to go through the regents correctly and throughly

If you think of the curve like your elbow, the outside of the curve is like the outside of your elbow, and the inside of the curve is like the inside of your elbow (kinda hard to explain in text lol)

And a question- On question 72, when drawing the lines, does it matter if you go over or under a number? For example when doing 30, is there a criteria on whether or not you go under or over 32? Overtime if water in a pond is just sitting there the water will evaporate from the heat of the sun. Eventually, if you didn’t keep refilling the pond like the question said you would have no water left. Does that help?

Thought you meant your teacher was going to give you the January one as a practice because in your comment you wrote is this the actual 24 January regents . The June one is different! But they generally are similar so the more old ones you do the better you will do.
For number 55, wouldn't the answer for the Los Angeles time zone be 11 A.M.? That was the question I was confused on since you put 10 A.M. for the answer.
I’m confused because if you look where I wrote 10am, Los Angeles is in that shaded zone . The other way you can know is that California is 3 hours before New York. Rochester is in New York. If it’s 1pm in New York California is 3 hours before it, making it 10am
In New York the Sun is in the south at solar noon (when the sun is at its highest point for the day) so if thats the case shadows point in the opposite direction which would be north. Good luck tmrw!!
Yes start watching the playlist of all my tutorial videos . It goes over everything for the whole year. If you put a ton of time into focusing on the videos and pay attention to them and do two or three practice regents exams you should be fine. It will be a lot of work but it’s totally possible. I hope you do well!!

Are you looking at where the dot is for the city? It’s not where the name Los Angeles is, it’s where the black dot is. Does that help?

Sooo 360 degrees in a year right? So half the year would be 360/2 .. half the year is 6 months. Does that help?

Yes start watching the playlist of all my tutorial videos . It goes over everything for the whole year. If you put a ton of time into focusing on the videos and pay attention to them and do two or three practice regents exams you should be fine. It will be a lot of work but it’s totally possible. I hope you do well!!
