Ontem, dia 26/08/2022 faleceu Cecil 'Skelly' Spence, um dos maiores da música reggae mundial. Para mim, que tem como Israel Vibration a banda de reggae favorita, é a maior perda que um fã pode ter. Tive o privilégio de vê-los ao vivo, e sou muito grato por isso, e agradeço Skelly por todas as músicas incríveis que entregou ao longo da carreira, que ficarão vivas para sempre na história da música reggae. Descanse em paz, Skelly. E Wiss, tenha força nesse momento. Gostaria muito que o Israel Vibration continuasse, mas entendo se caso não acontecer. I remember one time in my native Ashland, Oregon back in college, 'Ode to Id' days I was with Nick the Christian cocaine dealer in Lithia Park and I became friends and opium colleagues with this deep African Rasta Man who singled me out and trusted me. Aside from that, I've met Rastas at Reggae concerts backstage and such; but it was my Ashland friend of course I had and feel real connection with to this day.
