The strategy is to steal enough points to make it mathematically impossible for other side to win. I am a threat you cannot ignore because if left alone I will solo every surk. My team is also important because they can threaten to kill captain if enemies go after me. It is a war on two fronts. Me in the middle and my team near the captain or vice versa. Specifically, if my team simply do their quest and clear to brig; and I successfully do my job in middle. The enemy team won’t have enough points to win if they rush captain. I like to leave surks at 1 hp and take them as a surprise later. Late game the only rooms left would be barracks and captain / bridge, and that’s what we fight over. Any quick que group can win. No one is safe

Dredge was cool, but why are you all just soldiers? I was 5 star then 4 star after taking a break, then nothing after servers combined, so i quit!
