It's soooo rare that artists hit that perfect combination of beautiful melody, meaningful lyrics, inventive production and high emotion like they have here. I'm a serious D'n'B head, like, since Day One, in the old English Rave Scene. Every now and then though something like this comes along and blows my mind! Gorgeous track mate. Now I gotta go and check the original....

THANKS! I've been cheating using pre-sets your comment really got me out of my comfort zone. Made a halfway decent lead for this track :) If you produce and ever need live violin hmu that's what I know how to do so far haha.
@@DJCatgirlOfficial I know this is gonna sound really weird, but maybe get a detuned saw from nexus. I don't know or like nexus sounds, but those seem to work as top layers really well for me. then I'd get a cello and an electric guitar and layer that with some sort of square lead. the square lead is optional, but yeah that's what I'd usually do for that top layer.

Why does he cut the bass on the drop??? :( it would’ve been PERFECT with that bass hitting hard on the drop. My only complaint. Nonetheless it’s pretty good.
There's massive bass through the whole drop. Likely your speakers or subwoofers can't reproduce the lowest notes (35hz) so you're not hearing it.
