It's not fully related, but everyone should play Tamriel Rebuilt. It's such an incredible mod to Morrowind. FYI, Morrowind and Daggerfall are the best games in the series. Great games. Not sure why they chose traditional RPG combat mechanics for a direct control first and third-person game in Morrowind, though. Would be great to see you react to some videos from Warlockracy.
i agree that morrowind and daggerfall are the best in the series. funnily enough, morrowind was originally a game i hated since it was the first rpg i ever played and all i played was mario and mega man beforehand so needless to say, i got my ass kicked with the, now, seemingly huge learning curve. if i remember correctly, i was 7 or 8 at the time when i first tried this game. nowadays, it is my all time favorite with daggerfall being a close second of my favorite RPGs of all time and it's thanks to this game that i came to love RPGs. i highly recommend the daggerfall unity mod :D

Loved Morrowind. Not Bethesda. It was good times with near endless modding so the game never got boring and modding tools were so easy to learn. Still pretty funny seeing some of the mods from the old days in this video, Better Bodies mod completely flipped Morrowind's modding scene on it's head, after it was released it seemed like every armour mod and then some required Better Bodies to function correctly. Not to mention BB got rid of those gods awful marionette bodies in the vanilla version. Good Times.

my first tos was oblivion......then i played either skyrim or morrowind, cant remember the order.... when i played morrowind i was pretty impressed by the complexity of the game.....and for the time it was released the graphics were really good. i was a bit disappointed in skyrim. one of the horrible design choices(because it wasnt a bug, this was how they actually intended it to work) was not to cap a limit on either alchemy or enchanting. if you just got a ton of ingredients for enchanting potions, a ton of souls and a ton of cheap equipment, you could make a whole set of alchemy-enhancing equipment. make a potion of enchanting, enchant another full set(not more powerful) and make a more powerful potion to get more powerful enchantments which allow you to make more powerful potions, and so on and so forth.... i saved my game and did a test. i had equipment with such ridiculous bonuses that i could face a dragon and my hp wouldnt drop by even one pixel. in games i like to max out equipment.....but in skyrim you need to decide how much is a far bonus, and how much is just abusing bad design choices and thus renders the whole game meaningless...
Bethesda makes great bases for which the modders to work with. I never play Bethesda games without mods anymore, because the games are quite barren without them.
Of course nobody will charge you because there are no witnesses. Yeah somehow they forgot that in just about every game thereafter. I love Oblivion in particular but you'd think leaving nobody alive despote being seen in a place would leave the crime unpinnable to you, let alone doing it via stealth. Yet god is apparently clairvoyant and present enough in the series going forward to not only be aware of my crimes but report them across the entire world because witnesses dont matter. It makes it seem more like its only okay doing it via contract killings and thievery in the faction quests is okay because its contractually okay but doing it on your own isnt.

I will never praise Bethesda. After the broken shit that is Skyrim, I'll never play a game directly from them. ID, and even ZeniMax, fine. BUT after the final boss breaks in Skyrim EVEN AFTER GETTING THE MOD TO FIX IT, I'm done. Not coming back. This and Fallout are now dead to me outside of ESO. Will not give them more money until Microsoft steps in and forces them to fix their BS.
