So the eventual star Irene Ryan, famous as Granny Clampett of The Beverly Hillbillys, was your aunt?

This started out really strong, but I think it ended up being a little more mean spirited than I expected. I am glad to have gotten to watch it though, and I thank you for posting it!

Anyone else recognize the soldier outfit? Looks like the soldiers uniform at the witches castle in wizard of oz which came out 3 years after this. Same wardrobe department?

Possibly even the same sound stage(s) or other production facilities, including personnel.

That lady with the dogs looks and sounds like Harriet MacGibbon who played as Margaret Drysdale. This lady's name is Lyda Kane, who apparently was a different actress but MacGibbon was married to William Kane.

Irene and Tim were married in 1922 later divorced in 1943. In this movie, Irene uses a version of her last name, Noblette. Irene’s actual last name was spelled Noblitt. I’m not sure at what point she took her married name for use as her professional name.
