NightStalker_ZA when you heat it in real life it sounds exactly like a 2ltr gti with dsg when its pushing.... sorry but for me thats a bit of a shame...
Marco Reus wish I could agree or disagree but i can honestly say that I have not had the privilege to hear one in person. Can only say that it sounds good on video.
Are you sure that wasn't a Veloce (2l 4cyl 280hp) you heard? Because the QV absolutely doesn't sound like a GTI

No worries, cant wait till you do some of the older cars like the turbo VL you did, maybe a Ford ESP and also say the dick johnson Turbo special and also other classic V8's now that would be great the old 1970's classic cars which are all stock, but maybe new engine mods but still stock etc. :)

What surprises me is how well it puts the power down through rwd only. Sure, it's less drama (no burnouts) but for effective launches Alfa is one of the better rwd cars there. In other aspects it is a sublime car, needs to be in red color though.

Could have gotten a better launch, foot hard on brake, revs to 3k and release brake to launch. There is turbo lag on these, it's kind of helpful as stops you spinning the rears all the time. And as normal, the videos don't do the exhaust any justice whatsoever. All haters haven't heard one in real life that is a fact.

@PDDriveTV Since you measure the 1/4 mile time and speed anyway, could you not upload the speedo view of that? Would be more interesting to see cars accelerating close to 200 km/h and sometimes even higher than always just to 100 km/h.

PDriveTV the RPM’s. I know this video is almost 2 years old but I just wish it showed when it shifted gears because I’ve heard the 2.9 V6 shifts very quickly and I would’ve liked to see the shifting as I’d consider this model

Wish it had a manual. Not like I can afford it and the wankers that can are too busy texting and driving to use a manual transmission but it makes it hard to dream about when it's got a lame fartbox trans.

It's not even DCT - it's a standard torque converter auto, the ZF 8 speed. And yes, certain markets get a manual option on the QV.
turando43 fair go glad it's a TC, no manual QV for Aus yet and that's where I live so my comment reflects that.
Wouldn't hold your breath on that one given what the market is like here!
