Cutting through soft rock to form a path behind the house.
The bank behind the house is soft rock and took a week to dig out to form a base to support the new path. This DIY house project is very labour-intensive and a significant change to my previous mouse-pushing lifestyle but will be worth it in the end.
All the foundations formation have now been dug out, protected where necessary with concrete blinding and just waiting to get the green light to start the actual build beginning with a substantial reinforced concrete strip foundation pour :)
The buckets are to protect the electric cable and tools from the rain and the yellow stand supports a laser.
