I grew up here as a fourth generation Croatian. Wonderful place to be a kid even though back then I couldn't wait to get out and see the outside world. I really miss the old Harbor and its culture and its so weird to me to see it become this bustling, highly desirable place with traffic jams and craft breweries. Oh well I guess things can't stay the same forever.
(☞^o^) ☞ Aloha. They never do, but we have our memories. I grew up as a teen over 30 yrs ago and loved the City of Miami but it changed too and over 10 yrs ago I was there and told myself I couldn't live there again, not for me.
After the Weekender in 2019, we spent a few days at Gig Harbor at an AirBnB! Visited with family in Tacoma. Went to Owens Beach. Had lunch at the Tides Tavern. It is GORGEOUS! If the Weekender ever happens again, we may have to do the same itinerary.

Lived in Artondale back in 2017-2018 and it's nice to see this beautiful town again
Those summertime waterfront views can’t be beat! I caught a peak-a-boo view of our location at the 40 second mark of the waterfront area. Great video.
