I've been toying with the idea of building my own watch with parts sourced from Ali express and the like. Never knew that there was a place like this. I might just go this route. Yours came out great! 👍
I've thouight about doing this but held off. I have a birfthday in February and I am at the age (50) where I really don't give a crap anymore. This may be a fun gift idea for the family - they can "help" and we can all laugh as I make a mess of things. Also - I want to say thanks for all the great content. I am really glad I found your awesome channel. I hope you and yours have a great holiday and a Happy New Year. Looking forward to more watch stuff in 2022!
Yeah that's actually a great idea for a family activity! I can definitely see how it would be fun to do so. And thank you so much for the awesome support in 2021! It really means a lot to me so onwards to 2022 with even content hopefully! Take care😁
Happy holidays to you TWI it's been a great year thanks for the great videos! I've seen DIY watch club around before and that dial does look pretty great. A smaller dive watch would be pretty great for sure hopefully they listen to you👍
Thanks Ed, and happy holidays to you too,its always great seeing you in the comments! Yeah theyve come out with some new dials and I actually saw they put out a sapphire dial too which is cool. fingers crossed for a 39mm diver! 😁
Considering my super skilled manual dexterity for dealing with tiny fragile stuff, they would have to send not just spare hands, but basically everything in double LOL. Amazing competitiveness in today's watch market, you get tools, a nice watch, and for a comparatively affordable price. Nice video. Have a nice holiday season, God bless your home and your family!!!!!!!
Loooool I guess if you get it right the first time then you'll have two watches instead of one which is awesome! Yeah the pricing for the whole thing is pretty awesome definitely makes me want to mess with my other watches lol! Thank you so much and happy holidays to you and your family as well!! Onwards to 2022!
Nice one TWI for building your own watch! I am so tempted to do this but I do not have steady enough hands these days so would probably make a complete dogs breakfast of it in my case. Keep up with the great content, it's always fun and educational to view your videos.
Thanks Anthony! It was fun to do and it's given me the boost I needed to go for a custom build someday! Loool yeah I had to make sure the room wasn't too cold to avoid any shivers😁 Thank you so much it's been great getting to know you and your support has been awesome through 2021 so onwards to 2022 with new content!!
Super cool. Btw I would love to see you review one of the new Seiko prospex speedtimers. There’s one with a vintage-y tan dial that is ridiculously cool and original
Thanks man! Yeah those new chronographs are pretty awesome and you read my mind bc I recently got the white dial version! A review of that will be coming soon the January 9th hopefully after I get a good feel for it. It's super cool so far but the tan/yellow dial looks pretty interesting as well!

Nice video! What is the ref.code for this dial?
