    I feel the need to clarify this pattern. Everyone knows the swastika has a rotten reputation in modern history but it’s still seen as a symbol of good luck and prosperity in most of the world. We shouldn’t let the ideas of one idiot tarnish a peaceful symbol.

      Totally agree. We don't know world history that well, so we are ignorant to the facts

      Hooked Cross is purely Christian and thus
      Nothing to do with the Swastika .

      Hitler was in close contact with Hakenkruz not Swastika.

      Agreed. However, It does evoke strong feelings of the present which should probably be accounted for. The past is done and dusted, but most experience the present more vividly than the past. Maybe symbols are just symbols, and what they evoke in us needs to be accounted for rather than what someone at some point imagined or recognized them to be. What that 'one idiot' has done, many still support today. The meaning maybe changed forever until this scar heals, which maybe several hundred years away.
      So maybe you could excuse the unrest of those who protest against it, and maybe you could understand the weight of what this symbol meant in recent history to a great number of people.
      No matter what, we appreciate your work. Thank you!

      The idiots that tarnished it are the propaganda empires that won the evil war.

    Awesome pattern! Quick question regarding the bottom-left: Are the lines heading toward the outside supposed to be longer than the others on the other three sides? The bottom left section (in the middle) is the only one that has the lines extend one small square longer than the others. Just wondering if it is supposed to be like that, or if it doesn't matter if I wanted to keep everything the exact same

    • @ZKorvin
      @ZKorvin  3 года назад +1

      Yeah it’s gotta be like that so you can repeat the pattern over and over, you’ll notice at the end of the video that as it repeats that gap is necessary. 🙏🏻

    • @ZKorvin
      @ZKorvin  3 года назад +1

      Thanks so much! When you're drawing the lines for the grid you can extend them as long as you like outside of the circles, at some point they will cross just like they do in the center and that will be your guide for drawing more squares. I do it at 03:29 to extend by one square but you can use the same method to extend by as many as you like. Hope that makes sense.

    Fajne dużo pracy tylko ja tam widzę 4 swastyki. Ale i tak uwielbiam mandale w twoim wykonaniu.

    • @ZKorvin
      @ZKorvin  3 года назад +1

      Są tam cztery swastyki, ale nie zapominaj, że jest to symbol szczęścia i dobrobytu, a nie nienawiści. Moja rodzina jest Polką i wszyscy byli mocno dotknięci tym, co się stało, ale wciąż widzę piękno w tym wzorze.
      There are four swastikas in there but don't forget it is a symbol of good luck and prosperity, not hate. My family is Polish and they were all heavily affected by what happened but I still see beauty in this pattern.
