hey :) nice videos I was wondering if you could do a 2.7k or 1080 mic test as the regular explorer 4k has a bad mic and I wanted to see if this is any better. thanks you've earned a new subscriber.
The Elite has the Novateck chipset which deals withWDR light and dark handling far better. The pro has the Allwinner chipset which does not handle WDR well at all. So the pro wont pick up much detail in dark or shaded areas. Plus the Elite will do 24 frames a second in 4K. The pro will only do 15 frames at 4K which is fairly pointless. Your TV at home runs between 50-60 frames a second depending on where you live in the world. Spend the extra few dollars on the Elite to avoid disappointment.
I probably didnt answer your question correctly if your asking about the Explorer Pro? The Pro you can do 240 frames per second in VGA low resolution, so in effect you have a slow motion camera. The Elite and the Explorer Pro have the same Novatech chipset.
Thanks Andrew, yes asking about the Explorer Pro, seems to be same chipset so I am wondering about the actual quality differences as the Elite is $20 cheaper
