- In this short video, I just recently bought a Rockshox Zeb ultimate . I got the inspiration from a FB mtb group. I love an orange colour fork so I decided to have my Zeb ultimate lower powder coated. I’m really happy how it came out.

Did you take the fork bushings out before powder coating? Heating magnesium lowers to high temperatures is risky but hope its worked out for you.

How do you like the fork compared to the fox 36 factory? I have the same bike on order and was planning on going with the rox 38 factory but Zeb certainly is an option.
Hi, just a quick story I bought the 2 forks last Thanksgiving and my plan was to put both forks to my Levo and see which one I’ll like . I used the fox 36 first for 4 months since I got my Levo and now I switched to Zeb. . fyi, Both of my forks are not e-bike optimized just regular forks . Anyway to answer your question right now i prefer the fox 36 to Zeb as of the moment . I ridden the fox 36 for the past couple of months and dialed it in to my liking already. I just had 3 -4 rides on the RS Zeb and I’m still tweaking or making small adjustments atm. Both forks are good . For me Suspension is very subjective or a personal preference like brakes . You won’t go wrong with the either forks. Btw, forgot to mention my Zeb ultimate is the older model 2.1 RC2 not the newer Zeb ultimate charger 3. Thanks!
