From what I found out online. From the factory a tech puts on a ziptie too tight around the wires and pulled a wire connector apart. This was true on my generator I bought yesterday when I checked the wire connector. The wire harness is located on the pull starter side behind both side covers towards the front of the generator.
Would you recommend this at full price? They are going for around $1200 at home depot. I am debating on this model or the harbor freight predator 3500 model that goes for $700. I would just use as a backup for power outs at home to power a refrigerator and maybe a light.
I would recommend this pulsar generator, just because it's dual fuel. Propane is easier to store stock up, fuel goes bad quick. With that said HF does offer a dual fuel 5k generator a bit cheaper I would go that route.
I've had mine for a couple weeks now. Just unboxed it this morning. Looks nice, followed the start up procedures. Annnnd it surges at idle on propane and on gas. I can now say so far I'm not super thrilled with it, yeah I got it on the deal, but now I have to work on it and figure out why it is surging before I can use it. But for $300, I would say it is probably worth the hassle depending on what the problem is
I bought 4 , one was leaking gas now won’t run and the one I kept for myself surges as well. The other 2 haven’t been opened that I gave to friends. If you figure out the surge fix please let me know!
I called FedX and requested help and I will give the driver a nice cold bottle of water and a snack for helping me and (a $5 dollar tip) when it arrives on this Wednesday, ha ha ha!!! @@toolhead147
It was a mistake on homedepot website they put the generator for $279 by mistake.. I would try offer up I live in California and a guy bought 12 of them and is selling them for $500 still a great price I love mine
@@eddylopez2683 homedepot had a bunch marked down a while back for about an hour one morning Many times the retailer cancels the orders but this time they shipped
