Just had a neighbor find a hound deathly thin and needed surgery. He was abandoned in the desert with broken femur! This is all within a week. They have adopted him. He is home with them recovering. I have to thanks them, but without our Nextdoor they would of paid for it all! This made my Christmas!

Re: The restaurant dishware with the Temple Beth El insignia. Every big Temple has its own catering service.
Apparently this is a plate from that temple with the Temple’s insignia.

That glass flower is called a trumpet flower & they’re just for displaying, not an epergne.
Oh I almost thought it was one of those old car vases but it did look more contemporary.
The restaurant plate is probably from Beth El Temple, not Bethel Temple. Beth El is a common name for a synagogue and was probably part of their dinnerware.

I have several of those glass flowers. You lay them down with a little water in them and put a flower in it. I usually keep a silk rose or two in mine.

That flower is a vase for a single bloom & it lays flat on the table/mantle with the highest end up - I found a crystal one a few weeks ago.
They often have silver/silver plated stands.
Yup, they were popular back in the 70's and 80's. I can remember selling them at Reading China & Glass back in the day. I think Pilgrim Glass made some. They held just a little bit of water in the tube because of the curve.
The hibiscus flower looks lovely in this style vase.

The flower with gold trim just lies on counter with a single stem or a few smaller stems... put a bit of water in first.
The wood bunny bank caught my eye. It’s funny how sometimes something very simple can fascinate.

The Disney dish is vintage Houze Art out of Pt Marion, PA. My parents had that exact tray growing up. There are hundreds of different Houze Art trays. People collect them

If you heat the tape up with a hair dryer, it should come off easier
My goodwill uses saran wrap and not tape. It makes it easy to come off and holds as good as tape with no damage

You mentioned you look at items that turn out to be Pfaltzgraff a lot. This reminds me, I'm not into Pfaltzgraff, BUT they had a Christmas pattern of a set of dishes called Winterwood Green. They sold them around 5 years ago and apparently, they are discontinued. But that pattern is one of the most charming sets of Christmas china I have seen. They were green with sparrows and holy on them. So superb and captivating. I usually prefer antique and collectable items 99% the items I see, but this set of china was one acceptation.

When I saw the birdhouse, I was screaming in my head, the birdhouse, the birdhouse, then you passed it up! Then, you got the birdhouse! Yeah Joselyn! You got the birdhouse! Made my day even if it was missing a piece! Easy fix though! All it needs is a little cover for the bottom! I think I saw the little clips that hold the cover in place! Hi Jocelyn. You mentionyou have trouble getting the selo tape off have you tried soaking the things in not hot nor warm water but somewhere in between it might be easier for you to remove the tape and residue. Marie

I have found that if u soak the items with the packing tape in some hot water the tape will come off without damaging the item.
Loved the glass cats and perfume bottles.
Maybe try using a blow dryer to heat the tape up to reactivate the sticky so it will come off easier and maybe not cause damage or soaking in hot soapy water to remove it also is an option. Worth a try on a piece that is pretty like that one was that you left. And I have also heard of using essential oils to remove it as well.
That jewelry box was the exact same on I had as a child that my granddaughter now has! I had written all over the bottom of it.

IF IT WAS MADE AFTER 1900 IT WILL TURN PURPLE & SOMETIMES LIGHT BLUE/TURQUOISE. I HAVE A GREAT BOOK ABOUT OLD BOTTLES. MY GRANDMA GAVE ME. SOME OF THE OLDEST COCA-COLA BOTTLES ARE VERY THIN ABOUT 7 INCHES TALL & REALLY TURQUOISE THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL.

The mini stoneware I believe is sold at Cracker Barrel Restaurants.
That canister without lid may be a wine bottle cooler.. you chill it and it keeps wine cool while at party or whatever

She didn't rescue them from hunters. She said they were abandoned. Hunting dogs are bred for hunting. It's what they are happy doing.
Hunters are by definition not animal lovers and often treat their dogs very badly. So, abandoned or not I'm very happy to hear that Jocelyn has given them a loving home.
Oh my gosh, I'm excited! I picked up that EXACT same glass lily with the gold embellishments the other day! It was so intriguing I couldn't resist. Now, for the life of me I can't figure out a single thing about it. Including how to describe it. Can't wait to see what you find out! Crossing fingers.

When you use a hair dryer on the taped on portion, it just peals off without taking off the silver overlay. Years ago on your video, you always went through mugs. I’m curious, are they not worth it to buy anymore?
I noticed that mugs have become labor intensive as far as listing them the item specifics are ridiculous. I have stopped buying them for resale unless I know that they're special. I am curious if other sellers have this issue.
She picks them up sometimes if they are worth $20 +, I think.

I used to buy Lillian Vernon stuff in the 80s & 90s. They had some cute things…and then they would also sell a few racy/ tacky things too….more like what Spencer’s Gifts used to sell (are they still in business?)But overall, I liked their products, especially the decorative things and most of it was decently made. So if that music box is working and still in decent shape, it might be worth it. I haven’t looked it up to check prices lately as I rarely come across any of the brand.

I love your videos. I live abroad and we don’t have Goodwill. So I go shopping with you! The Goodwills that I am familiar with when I visited had mostly clothes only an island of shelves with home goods and paraphernalia.

I picked up the same exact egg coddler for 25 cents at a community resale shop. Ask yourself who gets your money? Community resale shops that actually contribute to struggling communities exist. Research and support in wisdom. Donated items are never meant fund wealthy CEOs!

2. Do you list the cats separately or as a group? If you listed them separately but one person buys them all does that effect the shipping cost?

Music box would be great for a Handmaid's tale fan since the song was sung in the show and there was a music box in the show that was significant also.
Why doesn’t Goodwill use a shrink wrap machine to combine items? We constantly see items that were perfect ruined by their mistreatment, like using heavy box tape.
Can you use heat from a hair dryer to soften the tape and prevent paint/silver loss??

Just an f.y.i. the glass flower is a vase. You should be able to lay it down w/ water in such a manor for a single flower. I've had clear glass ones. :)
