    I'm super happy that y'all got pregnant. I have severe endometriosis, and I was told when I was 18 that if I ever wanted to be pregnant, then I had to get pregnant like yesterday. He was right. My kid is 16, and we always tried for another, doing 3 round of IVF. So I'm happy I at least got one.

      I had horrendous endometriosis; like I’d have to go to the ER at least once per period for pain relief, and I had my period for 62 days in a row. My doc told me the same. We did 3 rounds of IVF, all u successful. Then I woke up and thought “I don’t have to give birth to be a mom.” So I called my GYN that day to schedule my hysterectomy. Less than six months later, we were chosen by a mother to adopt her baby. We got to be in the delivery room. Then two years later, we adopted an 8 year only from foster. So we have an 18 year old that just started college and 10 year old. Best decision I ever made.

      @Carrie Swank I'm so happy you got to be a mom! That's so true, you can be a mom without giving birth to them. I gave birth to one son at 20, but I was mom to my niece at 18. Then mom again to my second niece 11 years ago. Now I'm mom to all my son's friends lol I'd do anything for all of them and they know it! ❤️ I'd love to adopt or foster but I'm afraid I won't get to since I have a rare disease 🥺

      @julietteoscaralphanovember2223 Год назад +18

      It might be scary to someone who hasn't been through it but it's amazing, especially when you feel this little being moving around inside you. I always felt bad for men because they'll never get to have the experience of carrying a new life inside them. My pregnancies weren't as smooth as most are, but I would do it all over again, if I could. I'm fortunate I had my children early on in life because at 26 I had to have a hysterectomy. I'm blessed with 3 children and would have liked two more but I'm happy I got to have them and now I'm a grandma of 10 of the most sweetest, beautiful grandchildren!
      If you get older and decide to have a baby, you will know exactly what I'm saying. Carrying a baby is an amazing and beautiful experience. ❤

    ! had 2 freak outs that I remember from when I was pregnant. The first one was when I woke up and I was bleeding so I instantly panicked. I called my OB-GYN office while in hysterics, but they just told me it was normal and that I didn't have to go in to see a doctor. Things turned out fine, but I still had to call out of work that day cos I was still an emotional mess. The second time was further along in the pregnancy, the day after we had ordered out. I don't even remember what I ate, but I didn't feel my baby kick at all that day (you are supposed to count their kicks every day at a certain point to make sure things are good) and, once again, became hysterical. I cried that "I killed my baby with barbeque sauce!" 🤦 I felt him kick the next day. Pregnancy hormones are no joke! I can laugh about it now lol.

    • @ksy4747
      @ksy4747 Год назад +58

      Your OBGYN should have advised you to drink some OJ and see if you still don't feel the kicks and then go get checked out if not. I was a mess too, but only with my first one bc she was a rainbow baby and I panicked over everything. So dumb in retrospect. I wasted my pregnancy worrying about everything and hardly enjoyed it. Also, didn't feel as connected to my first bc of fear of connecting and losing her.
      My second was an IUD baby and I was like. Welp. I'm definitely not worrying about this one 🤣🤣🤣 only in the beginning after they removed the IUD and my protective hormones kicked in and I wanted to keep the baby after all.

    • @ReiKoko
      @ReiKoko Год назад +27

      @@ksy4747 honestly, I don't feel like the staff at my OBGYN office cares much. The only reason I still go there is because they're close by and are easy to travel to. I spent my entire pregnancy also worrying about losing my baby, especially because I'm infertile and he was conceived via IVF. We were lucky that the cycle was successful and I was paranoid that something would go wrong. I also had a lot of pelvic pain that only got worse as the pregnancy progressed. By the end, every slight movement below my waist hurt badly. Other than feeling the kicks, I hated the pregnancy due to the pain and stress. But if I had to do it all over again, I would.

    Pregnant 6 times, had 3 babies - I learned the secret to not being terrified- EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. It’s almost all normal.
    From hemorrhoids to nose bleeds to losing teeth to feet growing a size or 2 to having to pee every 20 mins FROM DAY ONE, not just at the end, to having “morning sickness” (which is really 24/7 nausea) throughout the ENTIRE pregnancy to sore bones & joints for months on end…YEAH, and let’s not even talk about labor & delivery. Expect the unexpected. Period. Lol
    I didn’t experience all those things, but my friends and I were pretty shocked to find out all the many things we did experience that no one ever told us about. I think I was glad no one said too much beforehand. Lol!
    Thank God children are SUCH a huge blessing!
    Many blessings to you 🦋
